Islamist school teacher guilty of training ‘army of children’ for London terror attacks

An Islamist schoolteacher was been found guilty on Friday of attempting to create an “army” of child Islamist terrorist to assist in carrying out a wave of terror attacks across London.

Umar Haque, a 25-year-old supporter of the ISIS, reportedly showed children violent Islamist propaganda including beheading videos and forced the youngsters to rehearse attacks on police officers in the British capital.

As part of his defence, Haque stated that lying and jihad was an essential part of his religion and blamed “fascists” and police for his crimes.

He told the court that he had been “preparing self-defence” against a “fascist” uprising by “fascist police as well as fascist groups.”

Tragically, ignorant of the parallels of Islam and fascism, the school teacher at a small Islamic private school used role-play to re-enact London terror attacks and prepare the children to mass murder British citizens in locations such as the Palace of Westminster and Westfield shopping centre.

“Part of that role-playing was re-enacting attacking police officers,” said Dean Haydon, head of the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command.

“His plan was to create an army of children to assist with multiple terrorist attacks throughout London.

“He tried and he did, we believe, radicalise vulnerable children from the ages of 11 to 14.”

Born to a Bangladeshi family, Haque had worked for mosques and ‘qualified’ to work with Newham council in East London.

The police investigation into the school terror cell was first met with silence by the children.

Apparently, Haque had threatened them with the same fate of the victims in jihadist videos if they spoke about their ‘training’.

Eventually, six students came forward to inform police that “he is teaching us terrorism, like how to fight,” because “if you fight for the sake of Allah, on Judgment Day, when you get judged for your good deeds and bad deeds, fighting is good.”

Two other fellow conspirators, 19-year-old Abuthaher Mamun and 27-year-old Muhammad Abid, were also found guilty at London’s Old Bailey Court.

They’ll now be sent to jails which the anti-Islamist Quilliam Foundation group describe as ripe’ recruitment grounds for extremists.

Last year, police announced that nearly 23,000 Islamists were being monitored by police for comprising the fifth column of Islamist terrorists hell-bent on killing British people.
