Those in the Main Stream Media (MSM) laughed when Trump announced he would run to be President.
Furthermore, they said Trump had no chance of winning the Republican nomination.
Left-leaning newspapers such as The New York Times and the UK’s Guardian announced that Hilary Clinton was 95% certain to win.
The Ruling Elite is out of touch
The Main Stream Media has a left-leaning bias.
Most of the reporters, journalists, and editors live and work in a liberal-left bubble, and therefore they cannot believe that others may think differently.
That’s why the EU referendum result and the election of Donald Trump to the Presidency of the USA left the media shell-shocked.
Let us not forget that most Trump critics support open borders, amnesty for illegal immigrants, and more Muslim immigration.

When the government announced that Trump would make an official visit to the UK, the MSM had a hissy fit.
However, there are many people in the UK who would welcome President Trump to the UK.

Dear President Donald Trump,
I have a British and an American passport because my dad is from Long Island.
However, London is my birthplace and my home.
I want to let you know that millions of Brits are delighted that you won the U.S. Presidential election.
We have hope for the future as you are now the President of United States of America.
Also, we are optimistic about the future because of Brexit.
All we hear is that the Brexit result has now divided our country.
The reality is that our nation has already divided due to the systematic bashing of the population with the Political Correctness stick.
The same goes for the USA as I’m sure you know.
They say that your victory has divided your country.
Obama divided your country for the last eight years, and I have no doubt that you will now unite it.
Patriotic Americans now have a voice just like here in the UK.
Millions of Brits and I agree with your policies like the Wall and the temporary Muslim ban from terrorist-linked countries.
People lock the doors to their houses not because they hate the people outside but because they love the people inside!
Please don’t believe the Main Stream Media (MSM) when they say that most people in the UK want you banned.
This is rubbish!
I would say the majority of people here want you to come to the UK.
