An Islamist who was acquitted of terrorism in 2018 after attacking a police officer with a samurai sword outside of Buckingham Palace while yelling “Allah hu Akbar” has finally been jailed after plotting an attack on LGBT activists at London’s gay pride festival.
Mohiussunnath Chowdhury, 28, from Luton, was found guilty in February on plotting mass murder at London landmarks and the gay pride festival.
On Thursday, the Islamist was sentenced to ‘life’ in prison with a minimum term of 25 years.
The court heard that Chowdhury had practised beheading techniques and stabbing methods, and attended a firing range with the intention of obtaining a firearm in preparation for the multi-location terror attack.
Chowdhury had been acquitted of terrorism in 2018, after he had been arrested outside of Buckingham Palace, swinging a samurai sword whilst yelling: “Allah hu Akbar!”
The Islamist had driven his car at police officers guarding Queen Elizabeth II’s official residence, before disembarking and attempting to stab the officers on August 25th, 2017, before being subdued.
A note found by Chowdhury’s sister read:
“The Queen and her soldiers will all be in the hellfire.
“They go to war with Muslims around the world and kill them without any mercy.
“They are the enemies that Allah tells us to fight.”
The 2018 court also heard that he had expressed support for Islamic State.
The message from the Crown prosecution is clear.
The release of an Islamist terrorist, who had already attempted to murder police officers with a deadly weapon, and publicly threatened the lives of British servicemen and women should have seen him caged.
His realise further highlights how those in charge of policing and in the judicial system have become an extension of the rotten and decadent as the political elite.
While Politically Correct policing presents a clear and present danger to the lives and well-being of the British public, the judicial system is proving inadequate in identifying the threat posed by Islamists.
