1st January 2021 marked the monumental moment when Britain officially left the European Union.
It’s a moment that will go down in history for the British National Party.
After joining the European (then the EEC) trading block in 1973, Britain became consumed by stealth and against the will of the British people, into a Globalist-run united states of Europe project, with its laws made in Brussels.
While the treasonous politicians handed Britain’s sovereignty to Brussels, a group of intrepid patriots founded the BNP to fight for the interests of British people in our homeland and wrestle back our nation’s independence.
Amongst the founding aims of the BNP was the withdrawal of Britain from the European Union.
The 40 years that followed saw the BNP build such a compelling anti-EU movement that it inspired other political parties and groups to also take up the cause.
Together, they succeeded in forcing the Establishment politicians into carrying out the will of the British people by taking Britain out of the EU.
At 11pm on 31st December 2020, the BNP accomplished one of its founding aims as Britain officially left the EU.
Brexit is won, now we must win the peace
While Britain is officially free of EU tyranny, it must be acknowledged that the ‘Withdrawal Agreement’ on leaving the EU is merely another ‘EU Treaty’.
The fact is that the EU has everything to lose from a successful secession of Britain from the EU.
Other EU nations now look on with interest, hoping to follow Britain’s example, should the leaving of the EU improve the fortunes of the British nation.
Naturally, it’s in the interests of the EU’s survival to make Britain’s independence prove a failure.
We cannot allow this to happen. That’s why the BNP will be keeping a close eye on the developments over the next several years.
The devil, of course, is in the detail.
While there are several issues that remain unsatisfactorily resolved, including the customs issues with Northern Ireland and the fishing rights in British waters, scrutiny of the 599 pages of the agreement are guaranteed to reveal other unwelcome conditions.
The BNP will be watching closely and taking action to ensure that the British people are not sold short.

The huge victory takes us one step closer to accomplishing the goals set out in the original manifesto of the BNP back in 1982.

For now, we lift a glass to our fellow brothers and sisters in our BNP family and make a toast – to British independence, to the resolve and glory of the British nation and the British people.
