Politicians attack Trump for slamming their catastrophic record on crime

President Trump has once again managed to trigger PC snowflakes everywhere with his latest tweet.

As always, Islamist apologists in the British political Establishment have wasted no time lining up to criticise him.

Jo Swinson, deputy leader of the Lib Dems, accused Mr Trump of being “misleading and spreading fear” while Labour MP Stephen Doughty said he is “talking nonsense”.

Even the Daily Mail said of Trump that he ‘wrongly linked the rise in crime in England and Wales to ‘Radical Islamic terror’.

But how did Trump ‘link’ the two, ‘amid’ is not the same as ‘as a result of”.

Crime figures are up in Britain and so too is the level of Islamist terror. Fact!

The British public are less safe as a result – and that’s what President Trump said.

The politicians have good reason to go on the defensive because President Trump is castigating the failure of the political class in Britain to protect the British people.

Furthermore, even if President Trump had intended to blame Islam for the rise in crime, his accusation wouldn’t be far from the mark.

Muslims comprise 5% of the population of Britain, but make up 15% of the prison population.

Muslim convicts also comprise 20% of maximum security detainees.

Take a look at the figures released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

Violent crime appears to have increased even more sharply, with some of the headline figures including:

  • 1,229,260 offences of violence against the person, an increase of 19 per cent on the previous year
  • 129,700 sexual offences, an increase of 19 per cent on the previous year
  • 45,100 rapes, an increase of 22 per cent on the previous year
  • 36,998 offences involving a knife or sharp instrument, an increase of 26 per cent on the previous year
  •  6,696 offences involving firearms, an increase of 27 per cent on the previous year — despite draconian controls on legal gun-ownership

The figures contained in the ONS report record crimes reported to police, not convictions.

Earlier this week it was revealed that police forces across the country have been making arrests on an average of 9 people a day for what the government terms ‘hate speech’ largely involving Islamists issuing threats and those vocally opposing the Islamisation of Britain.

It’s unclear how many of these arrests resulted in prosecutions, but while political police are spending their time searching for internet trolls to harass and arrest, genuine crimes including burglary and rape are going uninvestigated.

The rape and sexual assault epidemic is also fuelled by the endemic of Muslim Rape Gangs which continue to terrorise, attack and torture young white girls across the country.

The fact that some police forces have been forced to take action to cage Muslim Rape Gangs has resulted in a rise in the crime figures.

And let’s also point out the elephant in the room; Islamist terror in Britain peaked last year with a single suicide bomber mass murdering 23 people in Manchester and causing grievous bodily injury to 250.

Instead of criticising Trump for his no-nonsense tweets, politicians in Britain should be hanging their heads in shame.

President Trump is correct, the terminally-Liberal PC political class in Britain are failing the British people while lining up to smash the mirror which reminds them of their ugliness.
