Disgrace as NHS advertises £700,000’s worth of diversity officer positions – despite 7million high waiting list.

NHS bosses advertised hundreds and thousands of pounds worth of diversity roles in just one month despite the fact the NHS is cash strapped.

Vacancies for diversity, equality and wellbeing officers were put online by trusts in England and Wales in October.

All these roles have a combined annual salary of more than £700,000. This cash could be used to pay for 6 GPs, 19 nurses or 20 paramedics which are very much needed.

So why is this money being wasted? The NHS waiting list is spiralling out of control to around 7million. Cancer patients can’t get an appointment, we have an ambulance service on its knees but the far-left demand we waste precious money and resources on pointless diversity drives.

Paramedics and nurses are amongst the lowest paid in the NHS, with top salaries around £36.000, so the wages being offered for pointless unneeded roles is a disgrace.

Here are just some of the jobs on offer,

Diversity and Inclusion Officer- Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust, with an Annual Salary of £32,934.

Involvement and Lived Experience Diversity Officer Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear Trust with an Annual Salary of £40,588

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Leader, Dorset Healthcare University Trust with an Annual Salary of £47,672

Equality Diversity and Inclusion Officer- Gloucestershire Hospitals Trust, with an Annual Salary of £26,282

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist- Black Country ICB, with an Annual Salary of £77,274

This madness must stop.

BNP will stop sending foreign aid abroad until the 2.6Million children living in severe poverty in Britain can be provided for, pensioners are able to heat their homes in winter, and our NHS is fit for purpose – £14+Billion of British taxpayers’ money can go along way to fixing the problems we face here in Britain.
