This month’s design is a promotion of St. George’s day and a call for an English Parliament.
With the rise of English nationalism St. George has become a popular figure within English communities and many English people are angered, and rightly so, that he has been airbrushed from the history books.
Although other British patron saints are all recognised in their native countries – as well as in England – the Establishment do not want to recognise St. George. Even worse is the way local councils are willing to pour money into ethnic minority festivals and other politically correct events such as ‘gay pride’ marches but can’t find a penny for our day.
Thus this is an important issue for the BNP as we not only want to see the preservation of our culture, heritage and historical figures but we also do not want to be out flanked by false nationalist parties like the English Democrats who intend to split the patriotic vote.
I’m sure this issue is one that will win the party much support and show the public that we are not simply an ‘anti-immigrant’ party but that our ideals go much deeper and encompass the preservation of our culture and heritage. This positive outlook is something that is vital to our success in community politics.
