That's very interesting, Stringbag. I've recently been mulling over the idea that this country's immigrant labour are akin to slaves. Not just unknown illegals who may be trafficked and traded by gangs, but even those who have 'work permits' and think they're being paid a fair amount for what they do. I believe our national and European governments allow and encourage this for the same reasons now as during the trans-Atlantic slave trade — lowering the cost of the country's workforce to maximise profits and boost the economy. As a knock-on effect, as indigenous Britons find themselves unemployed, we may find ourselves forced to work for below the so-called minimum wage also.

The author is wrong about there being no latterday Cobbett of course, and neither Cobbett nor Powell had a Party – a real political breakthrough requires both leadership and organisation; and we've got both. Liberalism has been writing the history over the last 30 years particularly, and he who writes the history controls the present. But as is now obvious to all but the most hard of thinking liberal economics is one Big Shining Lie; and that is what will dicrate the future course of events.

i am a white english man, i have a wife & 2 children, & live in a 2 bedroom flat. we have been on a waiting list to get a 3 bedroom house for 7 years. some new houses have recently been built by the housing association, some 2 & some 3 bedroom.
we're still in the 2 bedroom flat, but a polish couple who don't speak english, with 1 child moved into a nice new 3 bedroom house. why? how??

I've written again to our government to express my disgust at the hand outs these muslim extremists receive. Why should someone lunatic preacher like Anjem Choudary get £25,000 per year in benefits for preaching his poison at the people that feed him ?

It's a disgrace to think that he's paid more than most of us including our brave soldiers !

Our spineless government should be ashamed by letting this happen. It seems that they're too busy milking the tax payer to be bothered to do anything about it.

The truth is the truth and action must be taken NOW. I am only sorry that the BNP is not in power now to carry out these measures. Amoung the first to take the chop must be those PC left wingers on the BBC who like to flood our TV screens with Asian and Black reporters or show British culture characters like Robin HOOd with a Black Friar Tuck.
