We were colleagues as far back as 1979 and last met in 1986. Now, twenty-three years later, we renewed contact as I shall be working part-time for him to publicise his work and achievements as an MEP.

Although Andrew hasn’t even taken his seat yet, his two visits to Brussels have given him enough of an insight into the nature of the beast to know how dangerous the lure of the lifestyle associated with the European Parliament can be and he warned of this in his Victory Celebration speech in Blackpool.

The classic example of this can be seen from the track record of the 13 UKIP MEPs that took their seats five years ago. They were all hypnotised by Europe and did nothing while their party back in Britain almost disintegrated.

That’s because they didn’t use the five years to show their constituents in the regions they represented what they could achieve on their behalf. Instead they just got lost in Brussels (as Bonnie Tyler might have said), immersing themselves completely in the daily business of the European Parliament which had no benefit whatsoever for the people, or their party, back home.

This mustn’t happen to us. We must use the next five years to show the voters of the North West and Yorkshire that when they elect a British National Party representative, things get done for them.

It will be of little interest to the public which way our two MEPs voted in the huge 736-strong parliament on issues the majority of which will have no meaning or relevance to the British people.

We have to make sure that our two MEPs use their influence as elected representatives for 60 local authorities across the north of England to benefit people at the community level and that this help is seen to be done.

That’s my job and I will be working to make Nick Griffin and Andrew Brons not just household names, but names that wear a badge of honour for representing the interests of the people of their two regions.

My inbox has been full of messages from people offering advice about how to proceed in my position as Communications and Campaigns officer. Every suggestion has had a European theme with many advising me to spend my time communicating with other nationalist groups in Europe to promote closer links.

I’m afraid I don’t see it that way at all. The only closer links I want to promote is between Nick and the people of the North West and Andrew and the people of Yorkshire and the Humber.

To me, the label MEP means we now have the authority to raise our game here, and to help British people with issues that the corrupt old gang parties won’t touch for fear of being seen to be politically incorrect.

Earlier in the week, Reverend Alex Brown, 60, who has served at St Peter’s Church in Cornfield Terrace, St Leonards, Hastings, for 18 years, was arrested at his home in Blomfield Road in a series of dawn raids by officers on six properties.

Rev Brown appeared before Hastings magistrates on Thursday charged with conspiring to facilitate a breach of immigration laws and solemnising a marriage according to Church of England rites without banns having been published.

Detective Inspector Andy Cummins said: “The arrests follow an 18-month investigation into allegations that nearly 180 sham marriages had been arranged at the local St Leonards church, allowing non-EU nationals to remain within the UK and EU member states.”

Only a few days after the vicar’s arrest, the equally incredible news broke that the St Peter’s Church of England School in Chorley, Lancashire, banned a pupil from wearing a crucifix while allowing Sikh pupils to wear religious bangles.

Eight-year-old Lauren Grimshaw-Brown was told to take off the crucifix even though she wore it under her clothing. The reason they gave was for ‘health and safety’ reasons claiming that ‘injuries can arise’ if the chain should catch while the child plays.

“We’re a Christian family and my children wear the necklaces underneath their tops,” said Laina Grimshaw Brown, Lauren’s mother. “I’ve got absolutely no problem with any other religion wearing bangles or another item of jewellery, but why can’t my daughter wear a necklace with a cross? It’s a church-led school.”

Mrs Grimshaw-Brown added that Lauren and brother Callan, five, have always worn crosses at school. “On Thursday Lauren was told by a teacher to take it off because apparently they’re not allowed to wear jewellery.

“I could understand it if it was a fashion accessory or a High School Musical necklace, but it’s part of our faith.”

Mrs Grimshaw-Brown complained directly to the headteacher, Helen Wright, who referred the matter to the school’s chairman of governors, Father Atherton. He upheld the ban.

Mrs Grimshaw-Brown added: “I received a letter in my child’s reading folder. It said that if she had been a Sikh child she would be allowed to wear bangles because it’s part of their religion.

“The necklace is designed to come apart if it snags. The school has suggested she wear a brooch but surely that’s more dangerous because of the pin.”

The letter to Mrs Grimshaw-Brown said: “The prospectus makes it clear that the school will allow jewellery where it is a necessary part of the religious faith of the child, i.e. Sikh families must wear bangles as one of the “five Ks”, the religious rules for dress.”

The Church of England openly campaigned against the British National Party during the recent European elections, despite that party being the only group to oppose the Islamification of Britain which is steadily leading to the extinction of the Christian faith.

In the light of its increasingly erratic behaviour, observers are now asking if the Church of England hierarchy actually does hate British people. Their actions would indicate that they do.

The British Foreign Office is currently recruiting Pakistani nationals to work in the British High Commision’s Abu Dhabi visa decision support team – despite Pakistan being identified as the origin of two thirds of all terror plots in the United Kingdom.

The open offer to Pakistani nationals via the British High Commission in Islamabad was uncovered by a BNP News research project into the continued failings of the UK Borders Agency to properly vet immigrant applications from countries with a record of exporting terrorism to Britain.

In the latest such news, it has emerged that High Commission officials in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad have been overwhelmed with 66,415 visa applications in the last eight months. There are eleven ‘entry clearance officers’ – who appear to be mostly recruited as local Pakistanis – and two managers.

That is the equivalent of 43 applications every day if they all work eight hours a day for 20 days a month – or eleven minutes per application.

Officials are not checking supporting evidence in thousands of applications from Pakistan and neighbouring Afghanistan, and there have been no back-up telephone interviews on applications.

Research by BNP News on current vacancies on offer at the High Commission in Islamabad, Adu Dabhi (to where all Asian applications are now ultimately sent), has revealed that local staff are recruited to help vet the mass of applications – raising a whole new set of security issues.

It would appear that the vetting teams are sourced from the same population which make the applications – a bit like using the inmates of a prison as the gate guards.

According to the High Commission in Islamabad, Pakistani nationals are being asked to apply for four jobs as “Decision Support Tool Team Member” at a salary of 38,005 rupees per month.

Applicants are required to have “at least one year office based experience” and visa experience is “desirable” but not mandatory.

The job description states that the applicants will be expected to “accurately complete the seven tabs of the Decision Support Tool for applications to be assessed by ECOs (Entry Clearance Officer) in Abu Dhabi; to assess applications by detailing the documents to the DST (Decision Support Team), including information contained within a passport; to  check for non-genuine documents or any other fraudulent information and pass those found to the DST manager; to forward to the Document Verification Unit potentially suspicious documents for further checks, and to write appraisals on LE IV/V colleagues.”

As if to highlight the fact that these people aren’t even remotely linked to Britain, the job description detail states that there “will be a written English and typing test at the interview stage” and that the “British High Commission is an equal opportunity employer.” Job applications must be submitted to the Diplomatic Enclave, Ramna 5, P. O. Box 1122, Islamabad.

All but one of the 12 suspects arrested over an alleged plot to bomb shopping centres in Manchester earlier this year came to Britain from Pakistan using student visas.

The fact that locals are being used to check applications from their own community is even more disturbing in the light of a new report from the Independent Monitor for Entry Clearance (IMEC), which found that “immigration officials are not carrying out proper checks on thousands of visa applications by visitors from high-risk countries including Pakistan and Iran.”

Linda Costelloe Baker, head of the IMEC, said in her official report that border control staff at visa issuing offices overseas were understaffed and “under strain.”

They were frequently at risk of not spotting immigration cheats, she added. “The UK Border Agency staff do not have enough time to go through applications carefully.”

Officials were under pressure coping with the visa processing system in countries including Pakistan, Iran and Bangladesh.

While all passports are checked, officials only examine other supporting documents in 80 percent of cases, meaning some 13,283 applications did not have additional evidence checked.

In addition, the new law has instituted a policy of immediate deportation of the invaders themselves.

The law, passed yesterday in the Italian senate after earlier ratification by the lower house, states that people caught entering or living in Italy without a permit will not be taken to court but instead given immediate expulsion orders. They will also face fines of up to €10,000.

The law also says that Italians - unless they are doctors or others who will be exempted - will be obliged to report illegal immigrants. Those who knowingly house illegal migrants will face up to three years in prison.

In addition, the law includes tough fines for landlords who rent to illegal immigrants, and orders that no public services be provided to illegals or their offspring in Italy. It also requires parents registering a birth to present documents proving that they are legal residents.

The law will allow private citizens who are former members of the police or armed forces to help the police in crime hotspots.

Italy has also just introduced a policy of returning boatloads of migrants to Libya before they can make their bogus ‘asylum’ claims. More than 36,000 Third World invaders landed in Italy last year after crossing the Mediterranean on boats.

Background to the immigration invasion of Italy:

Italy had, until the late 1990s, one of the lowest reproduction rates in Europe, and the population was projected to go into dramatic decline over the next few decades.

However, a massive spike in Third World immigration - legal and illegal - had seen the population increase to an all-time estimated high of close to 60 million in 2008. This increase was, demographers pointed out, exclusively due to immigration.

Official government figures in 2005 said there were 3.7 million legal immigrants in Italy (an increase of 21.6 percent in one year). That figure represented 6.2 percent of the overall population.

However, the next year, another 700,000 were added to that figure, and the numbers are increasing to the point where, combined with the native natural Italian decline, the foreign-born population is set to be well above 10 million within the next decade.

These figures do not, of course, include illegal immigrants, who, in 2006, were estimated to be “between 670,000 and two million.” Italy’s long and porous coastline makes it an easy target for people smuggling, which has become its single greatest security problem.

The number of illegal immigrants entering Italy in 2008 showed no signs of slowing down, and doubled in the first seven months of that year compared with the same period in 2007. More than 15,000 illegal immigrants entered the EU via Italy between January and July 2008, Italian Interior Minister Roberto Maroni said in August 2008.

Most of the illegal immigrants come across the Mediterranean Sea from North Africa, often in unseaworthy boats. It has now become a familiar site in southern Italy to see packed boats filled with Africans, North Africans and Middle Easterners, arriving on a daily basis at various places along the coast.

These illegals typically pay smugglers in Libya for transit to the Italian island of Lampedusa (not all of them arrive). From there they are transferred to detention camps in mainland Italy and eventually released; their deportation orders are not enforced.

In Padua, the Third World immigrant crime wave forced the centre-left city council to order the building in 2006 of a steel wall around run-down apartment blocks housing an estimated 1500 illegal immigrants (”clandestini”). There is only one way into the complex, through a police checkpoint, where uniformed officers inspect everyone coming and going.

The building of the wall was sparked by an outbreak of street fighting between Nigerian and Moroccan drug gangs, when hundreds clashed with knives and machetes. The socialist mayor of Padua described it as an “enclosure” needed to help tackle the drug dealers.

“When the police tried to arrest the drug dealers in the other part of town they fled to this area here; now that’s no longer possible,” a city councillor told Dutch TV.

“We had to do something,” he continued, “otherwise the problem would be unsolvable. We still remember what happened in the French banlieues, and we don’t want that to happen here in Italy.”

Padua has a population of 205,000, of whom some 70,000 are recent migrants. According to the local authority, one in three of the newborns in the city is now of foreign origin.

In many Italian cities, including Rome, Brescia, Milan, Padua and Prato, Third World immigrants already account for more than 10 percent of the population.

Italy now has well in excess of one million Muslims, drawn from North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Muslim communities in the Balkans.

Bearing in mind that the native Italian population has for all practical purposes stopped reproducing, it is not far-fetched to predict that, unless this situation is reversed, many of the Italian cities will be Islamified within the next three decades.

A study conducted by the Turin-based Centro Federico Peirone in 2001-2002 showed that the family size of arrivals from Arab Muslim countries remained at an average of six - compared to a native Italian average of 1.3 children.

Italy also has what is typically called a ‘Romanian’ immigrant population. In reality, the vast majority of these ‘Romanians’ are Gypsies, or Roma, as the politically correct media likes to call them. Gypsies originated on the subcontinent of India and have been travelling across Eastern Europe for centuries. With the expansion of the EU to include Romania and other former Eastern Bloc European nations, these Gypsies have been allowed free passage to move into Italy in large numbers.

Around 500,000 ‘Romanians’ are officially registered as living in Italy, but unofficial estimates put the actual number at double that figure or perhaps even more. Their exceedingly violent criminality led, in 2008, to an Italian government crackdown on that community, and large numbers were summarily deported or barred from re-entering. ‘Romanians’ represent roughly 15 percent of the prison population in Italy and 5.6 percent of all arrests for murder.

The increased Third World immigration problem has been reflected in Italy’s prison population. In 2006, some 20,000 people out of the 55,000 prisoners serving sentences or awaiting trial in Italian jails were officially described as ‘foreigners’ - overwhelmingly Third World in origin.

The freezing of the student grants was announced by university minister David Lammy, who received his own education courtesy of an Inner London Education Authority choral scholarship. He said that “difficult economic times” had necessitated the step. At the same time, tuition fees will increase by two percent to £3,290 per student, he added.

Mr Lammy’s announcement came on the same day that the House of Commons Defense Committee published figures which for the first time revealed official estimates on the cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, both of which have seen extensive British involvement based on a pack of lies supported by both Tory and Labour parties.

According to the report, the annual cost of UK military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan this year alone reached £4.37 billion. The recently announced foreign aid budget for this year topped £6.6 billion - meaning that in the current financial year the Government has spent twice as much on wars and foreign aid than it has helping British kids go to university at home.

Those figures do not include what has been spent on foreign aid and the illegal wars in previous years. The total cost for the Iraq conflict has been £7 billion, while in Afghanistan the total cost of Britain’s involvement is estimated to be some £7.1 billion, boosted by a massive £3.5 billion pounds in the current fiscal year and £2.6 billion last year.

The total foreign aid budget, as detailed on the website of the Department of Foreign Aid and International Development (DFID), for the years 2006 to 2008 totalled £20.126 billion.

In addition to these outlays, the Government has also spent untold billions bailing out its bankster friends following their borderline criminal activities in the American subprime housing market. All of this has added up to generate a government budget deficit projected to top 12.4 percent of gross domestic product this year - a devastating exposé of the utter incompetence and mismanagement of the current ruling regime.

As usual, it is British people who are called upon to shoulder the burden caused by these disasters. Students are an easy target upon which the Government can focus for the first of its major cuts to try and balance its books. Figures from the universities indicate that an additional 60,000 school-leavers face being turned away from university in September due to the decline in funding from central government which has reduced the number of new places available.

The new cuts mark the second time in less than a year that students have been targeted for ’savings’ by the Government. Last October the then Universities Secretary John Denham admitted that he had failed to calculate the costings properly on the family income threshold for receiving a partial grant. As a result, the threshold had to be hurriedly reduced, causing tens of thousands of students to be faced with additional unplanned for debt.

* The British National Party demands an end to these extravagant, unnecessary and wasteful foreign handouts. Not a penny should be spent on anything outside of Britain until the needs and requirements of British people at home have been met.

In reality, both South Africa and America have dramatically higher rates of violent crime than Britain. The Tories are simply lying, and have shown the intellectual shallowness of the people who want to make up this country’s next government.

To make matters worse, evidence from the British police shows that immigrants to Britain are responsible for a majority of the reported murders and related violent crime in Britain - making a mockery of the Tory allegations that British people are violent.

The ridiculous claim was contained in a special ‘report’ issued by the Conservative Party yesterday which was parroted by the controlled media as accurate - when, in fact, it was the most weak, pathetic and obviously false piece of ‘research’ seen since the Labour Party’s lies on Iraq’s ‘WMDs.’

According to the amateurish Tory report, Britain has a worse rate for “all types of violence than the US and even South Africa.”

The basis of this claim was in the definition of ‘violent crime’ as reported by the European Union’s central statistical office, Eurostat in Belgium.

Without bothering to check what makes up the definition of a ‘violent crime’ in South Africa, Britain or America, the Tory liars rushed into print the raw statistics.

In South Africa, a violent crime is defined - and records kept - as a contact crime, involving “physical contact between the victims and perpetrators and such contact is usually of a violent nature.”

What are the actual statistics which the shockingly poor Tory ‘research’ missed? A comparison of murder statistics alone shows the miscalculations of Mr Grayling and his rank amateurs.

According to the official South African Police Services (SAPS) statistics, as reported on their website, there were 18,487 murders in South Africa in 2007. According to the recorded crime statistics issued by the Home Office, there were 784 murders in Britain in 2007.

The total number of murders in South Africa from 2001 to 2007 was just under 120,000, according to the SAPS statistics. This is the equivalent to a larger number of people being murdered than the entire population of Salisbury in Wiltshire - yet the laughable Tories actually expect people to believe that Britain has a higher violent crime rate than South Africa.

Put another way: Some 60,000 British civilians were killed during the five year-long Blitz of World War II. This is half the number of people who have been murdered in South Africa in six years.

According to a report issued by the Global Burden of Armed Violence, the homicide rate per 100,000 population for South Africa is 38.6 compared to Britain’s 2.03.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s annual crime statistics reported that there were 16,929 murders in the United States of America in 2007. The total number of murders from 2001 to 2007 in America numbered 98,703. This figure is less than South Africa even though America has a population at least six times larger.

The homicide rate per 100,000 of the population for America is 5.8, still more than twice the rate for Britain - once again completely contradicting the fake Tory ‘report.’

Even in non-murder statistics, South African and American violent crime statistics are far larger than in Britain, as evidenced by the official reports (links below).

A survey for the period 1998-2000 compiled by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime ranked South Africa second for assault and murder (by all means) per capita and first for rapes per capita.

South Africa also has a bad record for car hijackings when compared to industrialised countries especially when the lower rate of car ownership is taken into consideration. One South African insurance company, Hollard Insurance, no longer insures Volkswagen Citi Golfs as they are one of the most frequently hijacked vehicles in South Africa.

The BMW car manufacturer now offers its own insurance to purchasers of its product in South Africa because insurance rates are simply too high as a result of the large number of carjackings.

* Most murders in London in 2007 were committed by foreigners, according to Scotland Yard figures released in November of that year.

Of 47 killings between April and September 2007, where the nationality of the accused was known, 26 of the suspects - 55 percent - were not Britons. At least 23 of the victims were foreign, including Somali, Brazilian, Irish and Vietnamese citizens. The accused in the London sample hail from all corners of the world: Peru, China, Albania, Romania, Lithuania, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

* An interesting fact from published analyses of American crime statistics emerges when the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s “Uniform Crime Report” is cross-referenced with the published crime figures for European nations - and divided according to the racial statistics provided by the FBI.

The FBI classifies Hispanics, Arabs and others as ‘Caucasians’ and therefore the ‘white’ crime rates in America are artificially inflated. Even with that distortion (which must be significant), a comparison of murder and robbery figures expressed per 100,000 population for each country - and then America broken down into the FBI’s classification of ‘white’ and ‘black’ reads as follows:

Murder per 100,000 population: Britain 7.4, France 4.6, Germany 4.2, Italy 6.0, USA 9.3, American whites 5.1, American blacks 43.4.

Robbery per 100,000 population: Britain 62.6, France 90.4, Germany 47.4, Italy 68.6, USA 263.0, American whites 126, American blacks 1,343.  (Sources: FBI Uniform Crime Reports for U.S. data; The Economist for European data.)

As is clear from the separate calculations for American blacks and whites (done by the FBI),  whites in the USA commit fewer murders per capita than do white Britons. The higher robbery rates for ‘whites’ in the America data is attributable to the fact that the FBI includes a large number of non-Europeans, including millions of Mexicans, into its ‘white’ category.

The exceedingly high criminality rate amongst American blacks has led to huge numbers of this racial group being disenfranchised in many states due to laws which prevent convicted felons from voting. According to an Associated Press report of 23 October 1998, 1.4 million black males were debarred from voting in American elections on these grounds. The report went on to point out that in total, 13 percent of black American men could not vote in the 1998 elections.

The survey showed that in the states of Florida and Alabama, the degree of disenfranchisement was at its highest: 33 percent of all black males in those states were legally barred from voting. When all non-white groups in America (blacks, Hispanics and others) are calculated in, then the figure of disenfranchised non-whites for the entire USA in the year 2005 was set at an astonishing 3.1 million individuals - around 10 percent of the entire non-white voting population.

“I have appointed four new organisers this week alone,” Mr Jefferson said. “We have a big regional council meeting approaching and it is becoming very clear that far from being exhausted and in need of rest our activists and officials are chomping at the bit,” he said.

The historic breakthrough in the European elections was a huge leap forward and far greater than the party anticipated, he continued. “We have been viewing property all week and are now in contract negotiations to set up the first BNP offices for our MEP,” Mr Jefferson continued.

“These are exciting times. I can tell you that, far from being problematic, companies are actively competing for our contracts. We intend to have multiple bases in the North West for our constituency work. These bases will revolutionise our operations in the north of England.”

Mr Jefferson said the biggest eye-opener of recent developments had been the realisation of precisely how much a David and Goliath struggle the BNP had engaged in against the old gang parties.

“As we see exactly what goes into setting up one MEP constituency office, we have realised that the old parties had 78 of these MEP support structures and in excess of 600 MP offices and support staff to range against us,” he said.

“In addition, they have council offices and associated staff and all the finance and resources which comes with these posts. In spite of all of that, we have been taking them on. They have been able to put a miniature army of MPs, MEPs their parliamentary secretaries, district and county councillors, bussed in from all over the place to fight us, a group of volunteers driven only by a love of our country.

“In spite of that, the game has changed. Everything was poured into the North West to stop us, and they failed. Now they never will. The battle has been fought and we have won. Minor skirmishes will, of course, take place but never again will the extremist left be able to mount such a sustained and expensive assault on democracy,” Mr Jefferson said.

“Our time has come, and from here, we build. Watch out for exciting news from the North West over the next few weeks.”

All organisers were informed that candidates for local elections should be in place several months in advance and that all candidates were required to attend the regional training sessions.

Organisers were also informed that the party in the South East is rolling out a comprehensive training programme where qualified computer operators will teach the correct way to use programmes such as Excel and how to do mail merges.

“These will be compulsory to ensure that we are up to the challenges we face with the recent expansion the party has undergone,” regional organiser Andy McBride told the meeting.

“As we move forward and become more mainstream, we have to ensure that we meet the professional standards that our members and the general public expect.”

Mr McBride also reported on his recent visit to the party’s call centre. “This call centre is achieving great things for the BNP,” he said. “It is financially sound and the staff very well trained. I was amazed to see how quickly the staff in the call centre could convert a cold caller into a member, and the terrifically high targets they achieved on a daily basis. I witnessed true commitment to the hard tasks that were set, and was impressed with the level of professionalism within the unit.”

“Now we must move on, prepared for what shall face us in the coming year. Hard work and commitment will bring its rewards, but only if we work as a united team. We shall see victories and defeats, but whatever the outcome, we can hold our heads high in the knowledge that we proud and honest patriots have achieved much because the driving force behind us all is the love of our country,” Mr McBride concluded.

* Hastings organiser Mr Nick Prince was promoted to Regional Delegated Nominating Officer after his outstanding work achieved during the European elections.

“As with all walks of life, people bring different personalities and traits with them to the table. Terry Lewin is an activist of merit and calm determination,” Mr Salvage said.

“As a quiet and hard-working man, Mr Lewin has been invaluable in terms of dedicated activism in numerous campaigns.”

The first event under Mr Lewin’s control will be directing a team to help out Councillor Martyn Findley’s campaign in Nuneaton this weekend, topped off by an important regional meeting on Sunday.

Mr Salvage also paid tribute to Mr Griffiths, who stepped down after a recent medical operation and trying personal circumstances.

“He took over the role after a very trying and treasonous time in the Black Country which very nearly derailed the party locally,” Mr Salvage said. “It is due to Mr Griffith’s commitment - personally, financially and otherwise - that the branch was rescued and is now one of the leading activist groups in the West Midlands.

“Handling the inevitable ups and downs of running a lively branch, Mr Griffith’s bubbly and humorous manner ensured he was in demand from Cannock to Birmingham as a guest speaker.

In addition, he directed events brilliantly and took on our political enemies and the media with gusto and the loyal backing of his branch activists.

“We all now wish him the very best of British. We hope to see Mr Griffiths regularly at meetings and certain activities in the coming months, health permitting.”

Its unashamedly pro-British stance and the use of language which would be considered by the leftist extremists as very un-politically correct have prevented its republication until now.

Its launch coincides with a shocking report released by Professor Derek Matthews, an economics lecturer at Cardiff University, which showed that the twisted leftist teaching curriculum of the past few decades had so decimated young peoples’ historical knowledge that over 65 percent of them did not know that Queen Elizabeth I was queen at the time of the Armada.

Professor Matthews’ test was conducted over a three year period using first year university students, who presumably would have been the most read of the younger generation.

Only 15.5 percent of students knew that the Duke of Wellington was in charge of the army at the Battle of Waterloo. 34.5 percent knew who the reigning monarch was when the Spanish Armada attacked Britain and only 11.5 percent could name one British prime minister in the 19th century.

Only 40.5 percent could say what Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s profession was and a shocking 69.4 percent had no idea where the Anglo-Boer War was fought.

Professor Matthews, who lectures in economic history said, in a report on what he called the ‘death’ of school history teaching, that students in a typical tutorial had never heard of the Reformation and did not know what was meant by the term Protestant.

One thought Martin Luther was an American civil rights leader. His students were probably in the top 15 percent of their age group for educational success, he added.

“This implies that, all things being equal, 85 percent of my undergraduates’ age group know even less than they do.

“In other words, we are looking at a whole generation that knows almost nothing about the history of their (or anyone else’s) country. This is an outrage and should be intolerable.”

It is clear that the extremist leftists who run Britain’s educational system have engaged in a deliberate programme to rid British children of any sense of national identity, history or worth.

It is to correct this disgusting state of affairs that a serious amount of behind-the-scenes work was put into producing a new, but faithful to the original, version of Our Empire Story.

According to a report issued by the Forced Marriage Unit (FMU) - a joint operation run by the  Home Office and Foreign Office to try and counteract this Third World cultural practice which the colonisers have imported to Britain - there has been a 16 percent increase in cases over last year already.

The FMU, set up after the Third World immigration invasion started and funded by British taxpayers, has already received 770 calls for help this year. Projected forward, this means that in excess of 1,500 forced marriages will have taken place before the end of this year, an increase of more than 913 percent.

Despite the Daily Mail’s article specifically pointing out that the “practice affects mainly young Asian women, with more than a third of cases involving those aged under 18″, the photograph which it used to accompany the article was of a white couple wearing traditional western wedding attire (see above).

Under the photograph of a white bride, the Daily Mail put this caption: “Coerced: By the end of this year there could be 1,540 Britons who have been forced into marriage.”

This is blatant deception on two levels. Firstly, as the FMU report clearly states, the majority of the ‘victims’ of these forced marriages are young Pakistani and Bangladeshi girls, who are most certainly not ‘Britons’ by any stretch of the imagination; and secondly, the use of a white couple to depict a ‘forced marriage’ is obviously an attempt by that paper to create a totally false visual impression of the problem.

According to the FMU, 770 forced marriage cases were reported to the Forced Marriage Unit this year, up from 152 in 2005. The FMU report said that its advisors had spoken to “hundreds of schoolchildren who have confided to teachers that they fear they will be taken abroad in the summer holidays and forced to marry.”

This ties in with earlier reports which have revealed that at least 40 percent of under 20s in London are non-indigenous British, and there are ever increasing numbers of non-white youth across all corners of Britain.

To make matters worse, the Foreign Office minister who has now seen fit to comment on this disaster is Chris Bryant. “There is no culture in which this is acceptable in a modern world,” Mr Bryant said in his reaction.

Mr Bryant, however, is not the best person to comment on such matters. In 2003 he was discovered to have solicited anonymous sex and posed wearing only underpants on a homosexual dating site, Gaydar, while an MP.

The shocking sex crime figures were released by the Metropolitan Police yesterday. Of course they failed to link it to the figures in the recent Whitehall’s annual Regional Trends report which revealed that more than 700,000 children and teenagers in Britain are classed as non-white, and make up 40 percent of that age group in London.

Overall, rapes have more than doubled in five years and reported sex assaults have shot up from 165 in 2004/5 to 246 in 2008/9. The figures refer to cases on school grounds.

According to the new Met figures, almost 900 young boys and girls have been subjected to sex assaults including rape in London’s primary and secondary schools in the past five years.

The Met says that children as young as four have made allegations of rape. Commander Mark Simmons said the total of the reported sex assaults in independent and state schools could be as little as 10 percent of the real number occurring.

“We want to encourage young people to come and tell us what has happened to them. We want to assure them action will be taken,” Commander Simmons said, adding that the police have already been forced to assign 180 full-time officers to specific schools in London.

The Met figures show 52 children under the age of 18 were raped in primary and secondary schools since 2004. In that time a further 763 were the victims of other sexual assaults such as “penetration and inappropriate touching.”

Rape convictions rose in one year by 60 percent to 32 in 2008/9, while the number of alleged rapes soared 50 percent, from 10 to 15, in the same period.

Commander Simmons said the “peak age” of victims is 12 to 14, and mainly girls, but there are cases of boys being raped.

The Regional Trends report revealed that it is estimated that a third of all of London’s population is non-white, but this figure is to change dramatically as the predominantly youthful population matures.

Three London boroughs now have majority non-white populations: Newham, Tower Hamlets and Brent. Around 15 percent of young Londoners are classed as Asian and 14 percent as black.

More than seven out of ten jobs created in the last ten years from March 1997 to March 2007 have been taken by those born overseas, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) revealed in a report released yesterday.

The OECD said employment in Britain had risen by about two million jobs over that period, but almost 1.5 million of this was accounted for by persons born abroad.

This translates to 71 percent of all jobs having gone to foreigners. In France, it made up less than 20 percent of the total, and in Ireland and Australia less than 30 percent.

Only the tiny country of Luxembourg (population 486,000) saw more of its new jobs taken by migrant workers, the OECD said.

Even the United States of America, which is being invaded by untold millions from Mexico and Latin America, only lost 58 percent of all new jobs to foreign-born.

Around 30 percent of all foreigners arrived in Britain on intra-company transfers, the OECD said. The system allows international companies to transfer their staff to the UK.

The companies did not have to advertise the post in the UK first and staff can stay for up to three years, plus a possible two-year extension after which they can apply for permanent settlement.

Last year it was revealed that one of the biggest importers of such immigrants was the Indian IT industry, with one company in particular bringing in over 11,000 persons per year.

The OECD figures do not include the 151,635 work permits given to non-EU nationals since March 2007 - a figure which has undoubtedly contributed to the rising unemployment rate of British workers. Unemployment rose by 290,000 from 1 December 2007 to 30 November 2008.

So much for Gordon Brown’s “British jobs for British workers” claim which has turned out to be yet another lie.

Mr Barnbrook, a former Metropolitan police inspector, who is also the BNP’s spokesman on police matters, was the one who first raised the entire issue of expense fiddling with the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards when he complained about Tory MP Derek Conway.

It was that complaint which resulted in the first review of MPs’ expenses. Since then, Mr Barnbrook has overseen the downfall of at least two other senior members of the Westminster gang, and has lodged complaints against a further 19 with the commissioner.

Mr Cohen, MP for Wanstead and Leyton, is one of the 19, and has directly attributed his decision to stand down as an MP at the next election to Mr Barnbrook’s complaints.

“A major influence has been recent events around Parliamentary expenses,” Mr Cohen told a newspaper.

“I am still awaiting my name to be cleared both by the Press Complaints Commission and the Commissioner for Parliamentary Standards after a complaint was lodged against me by a BNP member,” Mr Cohen said.

Mr Barnbrook has also requested the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police to investigate Mr Cohen because he believes the matter is so clear-cut as to warrant criminal charges.

 ”Members of Parliament are able to claim up to £24,006 a year for a second home in order to be near to the House of Commons to vote,” Mr Barnbrook explained.

“Mr Cohen has nominated a one bedroom house seventy miles from his constituency in Colchester as his main home, rather than a big house he owns in his constituency of Leyton and Wanstead.

“By doing this he is able to claim the full additional costs allowance of £24,006 on the bigger house in Leyton, by nominating it as his second home. If he had nominated the one bedroom house in Colchester as his second home, the amount of money he would have been able to claim in additional costs allowance would have been substantially less.

“Mr Cohen is on record as saying that he lives in Leyton and only visits the house in Colchester on some weekends.

Mr Barnbrook pointed out that Mr Cohen has claimed the full additional costs allowance since 1990. “If this is correct it means he has claimed £310,714 in total.”

One down, 18 to go, concluded a satisfied Mr Barnbrook.

Earlier this month, French President Nicolas Sarkozy said the burka, which covers the whole face, was not welcome in France.

“Yesterday was the hijab (the Islamic headscarf long banned in French schools) and today, it is the niqab (the full veil),” Abu Musab Abdul Wadud, head of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb was quoted by SITE as saying.

“We will take revenge for the honour of our daughters and sisters against France and against its interests by every means at our disposal.”

The group also called on Muslims to retaliate for what it called French “hostility” against the community and its attempt to obstruct Islam’s practice on its territory.

“For us, the mujahedeen … we will not remain silent to such provocations and injustices,” Abdul Wadud said without elaborating, according to SITE.

“We call upon all Muslims to confront this hostility with greater hostility, and to counter France’s efforts to divide male and female believers from their faith with a greater effort … (by) adherence to the teachings of their Islamic sharia.”

He said Muslims in France, who are estimated at around five million, are “increasingly concerned about the practices of French politicians and leaders and their harassment.”

On 22 June, President Sarkozy said the burka was not a symbol of religious faith but a sign of women’s “subservience,” adding that the head-to-toe veil was “not welcome” in staunchly secular France.

France is home to Europe’s largest Muslim community and faces a dilemma between accommodating Islam and maintaining secularism. In 2004, it passed a law banning headscarves or any other “conspicuous” religious symbols in schools to uphold a separation between church and state.

Al-Qaeda number two Ayman al-Zawahiri criticized the law, saying the decision showed “the grudge the Western crusaders have against Islam.”

The Court ruling today said that the German constitution had to be changed to ensure that both houses of the German parliament, the Bundestag and Bundesrat, were not overridden by the decisions taken in Brussels.

These two legislative bodies had to have a say in the making of laws in Brussels, the court ruled.

The ruling confirms the long held British National Party position on the Lisbon Treaty which is that that agreement undermines national sovereignty and will see legislative power removed from all national parliaments and transferred to the EU.

Although the media are attempting to put a positive spin on the court’s ruling by highlighting the fact that the Lisbon Treaty will go ahead once the constitutional changes have been made, the reality is that if the amendment fails in the German parliament, the treaty will be dead.

Germany is one of the EU’s most powerful constituent states and at least 50 members of its parliament are known to be strongly opposed to the treaty.

The court’s ruling specifically called a halt to the ratification process until the German parliament makes the necessary changes. Specifically, the court ruled, the existing law which regulates the German parliament’s involvement in the implementation of European law needs to be strengthened before the ratification process can continue.

“It demands a strengthening of the parliament’s responsibilities on a national level,” said presiding judge Andreas Vosskuhle.

Germany is one of four countries that has still not ratified the Lisbon Treaty, which is in essence identical to an earlier constitution rejected by the voters of France and the Netherlands in 2005.

Ireland rejected the treaty in a referendum last year and euro-sceptic presidents in the Czech Republic and Poland have refused to rubber-stamp approval of the constitution.

One of the strongest critics of the Lisbon Treaty is Mr Peter Gauweiler, a member of Bavaria’s Christian Social Union (CSU) in the German Bundestag. The CSU is the sister party to Chancellor Angela Merkel’s ruling Christian Democratic Party. Mr Gauweiler is also the chairman of the sub-committee on foreign cultural and educational policies of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the German Bundestag, and was one of the principal appellants in the motion which led to the recent German Constitutional Court challenge.

Mrs Merkel is strongly in favour of the Lisbon Treaty, and a falling out with Mr Gauweiler could provoke a parliamentary crisis for the ruling party. The German parliament is to gather for a special sitting on 26 August for a first reading of the new law. The vote in the lower house would then take place on 8 September, just weeks before Germany’s national election.

Mr Peter Herbert, the chairman of the Society of Black Lawyers, has already formally complained over the BNP leaflet which showed how white British people have been ethnically cleansed from the streets of many parts of London.

Not too surprisingly, his complaint went nowhere, and in a childish outburst he has now called on the Government to change the law to outlaw any expression of indigenous aspirations - while, of course, ignoring the fact that he heads up an organisation whose membership is exclusively aimed at looking after the interests of non-white, non-indigenous people.

According to the blacks-only lawyer, the threshold for securing a conviction is so high that it is currently impossible to persuade the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) to prosecute the BNP.

Of course, what he actually means is that he wants the law changed to prevent anybody pointing out that Britain is being colonised.

Furthermore, the ‘offence’ of incitement to racial hatred was created under the Public Order Act and therefore only applies to acts that take place or are witnessed in public. Leaflets pushed through a letter box do not qualify under this act, and it is this point in particular that has the blacks-only lawyer boss unhappy.

Astonishingly, Mr Herbert admitted to the extremist leftist Guardian newspaper that the only reason why he was now raising it as an issue was because of the rise in support for the BNP. “It is essential we are given the tools to deal effectively with this threat,” Mr Herbert told that paper.

This is not the first time that leftist cranks have tried to prosecute the BNP for telling the truth. Currently there are four people on police bail in Lancashire who were arrested after they distributed a leaflet pointing out the dominance of Muslim gangs in the heroin trade.

Ironically, the men are out on bail while the police still wait to hear from the CPS if there is even a case to answer.

Mr Herbert, who despite his penchant for black-only organisations, is the former chair of the Metropolitan police race hate crime forum, said he would push for a change in the law to try and prevent the BNP from continuing to exist.

Speaking at the latest BNP Crawley branch meeting, attended by an enthusiastic crowd of over 40 people, Cllr Golding announced a new campaign to achieve the immunisation goal.

“We need to get to the point where enough people in this country don’t believe a word the media states,” Cllr Golding, the South East’s first elected councillor, said.

“We need to immunise our people against media smears by saturating the country with strident anti-media material. We have to destroy the trust that people still have in the media. Although it will take a long time and much hard work, we have to start now,” he said.

“From now on, we are going to make the mass media our main opponent. We need to get out there and tell everyone the truth about the media, which in reality is a propaganda machine, not a news service.”

Cllr Golding then outlined the past successes of Operation Fightback in fighting back against the lying media and of how this was going to be turned into a long-term campaign against the mass media.

The meeting, chaired by local BNP stalwart and organiser Richard Trower, drew an enthusiastic response when recent election results were detailed during the first half of the meeting.

It was reported that, out of approximately 450 vacant council houses in these areas, almost all of them were being allocated either to families from abroad or ethnic minorities.

This sort of gerrymandering would reflect Manchester city council’s anger at the BNP successes in these areas and it would also highlight their attempts to install voters who would vote against the BNP at the next elections.

When this tip off was first received in late January 2009, Derek attempted to confirm the situation with Manchester city council using the Freedom of Information act. He asked;
1) How many people are currently on the housing waiting list in Blackley and Charlestown wards?
2) How many people on the housing waiting list in Blackley and Charlestown wards were British or born in the United Kingdom?

The council have a duty to respond to Freedom of Information Act requests within twenty working days, however after many phone calls and threats of further action, a reply was eventually received on the 24th June, which was an amazing four months and three days after the request was first submitted.

The reply was quite predictable of course; in answer to point 1) of the request, the figure was 430 people on the waiting list, which corresponds reasonably closely with our whistleblower’s estimate.

On point 2), the request as to how many people on the waiting list were British or born in the United Kingdom, according to a certain Mark Slater (head of the housing information unit) they do not hold this information.

We at the British National Party find it hard to believe, considering the questions that are asked in all forms sent out by councils nowadays, that things as basic as nationality and country of birth are not questions asked by Manchester housing.

If, of course, this information is in fact true, and they really do not know the nationality of people on their housing waiting list, then this situation is even more worrying than their attempts at gerrymandering.

They could indeed have known terrorists or international criminals waiting to move into our area and neither the council nor their prospective new neighbours would be any the wiser.

Indeed for such a dictatorial and fascist council as Labour-controlled Manchester, the lack of such knowledge would surely be unthinkable.

They need such information in order to provide things such as locally based interpreters, Hal-Al meat supplies for local schools and all the various ethnic leisure facilities that are in abundance in other ethnically enriched areas of the city.

We at the BNP suspect that they do indeed know precisely what nationality everyone on their housing list is, and that they may also hold a lot more information on every one of us than they would care to admit.

We also believe that Manchester City Council might be deliberately withholding a full and frank reply to our request because it is such a sensitive subject and one that the existing residents of Blackley and Charlestown deserve to be kept informed about.

It would also confirm that our whistleblower is indeed telling the truth.

“Glasgow NE is a solidly white working class area, formerly supported by the worldwide export of the steam locomotive industry, having its roots in Springburn,” said Mr Raikes.

“Due to the demise of this era there is currently deprivation and unemployment of a high level. This has been aggravated by the influx of immigrants from the Third World and the EU adversely affecting housing allocation and job prospects for the native Glaswegian residents.

“Indeed, Glasgow has been described as the ‘asylum capital of Britain’ due to the destructive dispersal policy embraced by the Labour Council,” he said.

Mr Raikes said the BNP in Glasgow was starting from a small base but that this would not deter the party from going forward. “We have to start somewhere, and we will be looking to build on the 3,258 votes we polled there the last time we stood.”

The BNP’s candidate, Mr Charlie Baillie, was born and spent his childhood in the constituency. He has been a party member since 2005 and stood in the Holyrood 2007 Campaign and in two council by-elections. He was also the BNP’s number two candidate on the Scottish Euro list.

North West regional organiser Clive Jefferson will be managing the campaign.

* A large number of people attended the recent BNP officials’ meeting in Perth, Mr Raikes said.

“I was happy to report to the meeting that the second phase of our restructuring process had seen a new surge of interest in the party. We are now processing a huge number of enquiries and have the highest number of paid up members in the party’s history in Scotland.”

Mr Raikes also revealed the new Scottish local organisers pack and the new quarterly Scottish newsletter, The Bugle.

The Bugle will go out to all members and around 1000 enquirers along with a copy of the latest Voice of Freedom, a membership form and standing order form.

“All agreed this was a professional undertaking that would hopefully produce the number of officials needed to ensure an official BNP presence in every local Authority area in Scotland, with the aim of having target wards being worked in each by the 2011 elections,” Mr Raikes said.
