News that party Chairman Nick Griffin had outmanoeuvred and outwitted the EHRC — allowing the membership to reopen — saw the website ranking surge almost 10,000 places, from a weekly average of 31,726 to 21,801 in the world rankings.

According to traffic analysts Alexa, the BNP website is now most popular amongst age groups 18–24, 45–54 and silver surfers of 65+.

Alexa also states that the average visitor is a university graduate accessing the BNP website from their home computers; this is in contrast with the average Labour Party website users who “have no college education and browse the Labour site from school.”

Amongst rival party sites the BNP has the most diverse global reach which gives the party the ability to connect with ex-pats all over the world, in particular, those residing within the commonwealth and Anglosphere.

Today is the official worldwide celebration of St Patrick’s Day and in keeping with the British National Party’s desire to preserve and respect all European cultures, the party sends its official greetings to all people of Irish descent, deputy leader Simon Darby said.

Speaking from Brussels where he is part of a delegation preparing for the BNP’s first European Parliament exhibition, Mr Darby said that the entire party delegation intended to go out after the function and celebrate St Patrick’s Day.

St Patrick was born in Roman Britain during the fifth century and was taken captive at 16 years of age by Irish raiders and held prisoner, probably in County Mayo.

According to his Confession, Patrick was told by God in a dream to flee and return to Britain whereupon he joined the church in Auxerre in Gaul and became a priest.

In 432 Patrick went back to Ireland to preach Christianity to the Irish. Folklore claims that he used the shamrock to explain the concept of the Holy Trinity (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit) to the Irish people.

He spent 30 years in Ireland and was buried in Downpatrick, or so the tradition has it. Patrick was not the only missionary to Ireland, but has emerged as the principal champion of Irish Christianity.

Blue was Patrick’s original colour, but over the years it was changed to green and today that colour is most closely associated with all things Irish.

The British National Party’s first ever European parliament exhibition, titled “The Cumbrian Floods — Caused by Global Capitalism, not Global Warming” will be launched tomorrow evening in Brussels, Nick Griffin MEP’s office staff have announced.

The exhibition, which will consist of brochures, a slide show, a talk by Mr Griffin and a specially commissioned ten minute film, will reveal how the November 2009 disaster in Cumbria was the result of a lack of investment in infrastructure caused by privatisation and not “climate change.”

“The flooding was blamed on what was called a once-in-a-thousand-year rainfall,” said Eddy Butler, researcher on Mr Griffin’s staff.

“By implication this meant climate change. The reality is that the blame for the tragedy in Cumbria rests with the companies responsible for maintaining the local infrastructure,” he said.

A coach load of members of the public from the disaster area, organised by Mr Griffin’s other staff members Martin and Tina Wingfield, will visit the exhibition when it opens.

* Media and members of the public are invited to the event which will take place in a room off the Brussels parliament’s Yehudi Menuhin lower ground floor at 5:30 pm.

Tea, coffee and light snacks will be available.

Packed out audiences who attended two British National Party election roadshows in Newcastle and the East Midlands have contributed a total of £7667 towards regional election costs.

The audience at the Newcastle event, arranged by regional organiser Ken Booth, were entertained by musicians Joey Smith and Dave Eales and then followed by a speech from party leader Nick Griffin MEP.

Mr Griffin discussed the now-lifted membership ban and the war in Afghanistan, bringing tears to many people’s eyes when he told how the father of Rifleman Martin Kingett, who sadly never made it back from Afghanistan alive, was out leafleting and canvassing just to try and take his mind off things and help put the pressure on Brown to bring an end to this futile war.

Mr Griffin said that Tony Blair and Gordon Brown would be put on trial for that and other crimes against the British people, a statement which was met with rapturous applause and cheering.

After the buffet and auction, where BNP member Steven Spence won a signed picture of Nick Griffin and Andrew Brons MEP after bidding £150, the musical duo ‘2BE’ rounded off the night with a highly popular sing a-long session.

In Sutton in Ashfield, the roadshow proceedings were dominated by the astonishing £6000 collection raised after an inspiring speech by party consultant and fundraiser Jim Dowson.

In both cases, over 200 hundred supporters packed the venues.

£2765 was raised for election funds at the latest Harlow British National Party meeting at which five more candidates were announced for the Harlow, Epping Forest, Broxbourne, Rochford and Southend East and Saffron Walden seats.

BNP national organiser Eddy Butler will fight the Harlow constituency, while Pat Richardson will stand in Epping Forest. Steve McCole will fight Broxbourne; Geoff Strobridge will contest Rochford and Southend East and Chrissie Mitchell will fly the party’s flag in Saffron Walden.

The announcement, made at the inaugural meeting of the Harlow group this week, was met with warm applause from the packed venue, reports organiser Geoff Williams.

The meeting was addressed by Mr Butler; Chris Roberts, candidate for Basildon South and East Thurrock; and Epping Forest organiser Paul Morris, candidate for Brentwood and Ongar.

Seven new members signed up on the spot and a new local election candidate also came forward as a range of activities across Essex was announced for the coming weeks.

“There is clearly a new wave of enthusiasm sweeping the party,” Mr Butler said.

“We are creating real momentum just at the right time. The Eastern Region, like all other areas, will fight considerably more seats in the general election than originally estimated.

“The EHRC case has created a new mood of determination. As ever, the spirit of the party has bounced back in the face of adversity and we go into this general election campaign united as never before,” Mr Butler said.

“It would be nice if we could get as many of our people and supporters there to show our solidarity with Peter Tierney on the first day of the trial,” said Liverpool BNP organiser Peter Squire.

“Peter Tierney is someone who shows solidarity to any nationalist who needs help,” Mr Squire continued. “The least we can do is give him our support in return on this one day, Wednesday, 17th March.”

Mr Squires said that anyone wishing to attend this show trial should meet outside the Crown Court at 9.15 am. Proceedings are expected to last for the day and it would be appreciated if people could be there when Mr Tierney leaves between 3 and 4 pm as well.

Inquiries can be directed to: Peter Squires, Liverpool BNP, on 07941 704 997 or email BNPMERSEYSIDE@fsmail.net

The British National Party has announced that well-known activist Lynne Mozar will be its candidate in the Buckingham seat and will campaign against sitting MP John Bercow’s plans to actively discriminate against white British people as outlined in a parliamentary review published in January this year.

“Mr Bercow’s Speaker’s Conference said it believed that ‘parliament is too white, middle-class, heterosexual, male and able-bodied’,” Ms Mozar said.

“The published proposals say that if political parties do not artificially promote women and ethnics as candidates, consideration will be given to legal measures to enforce compulsory ethnic shortlists,” Ms Mozar said.

“All forms of so-called affirmative action are deeply insulting to women and ethnic-origin people, as it implies that they are incapable of achieving office on their own without being artificially helped up.

“The BNP believes all potential candidate selections should be based solely on merit. If the person is best suited for the job and can deliver to the constituents, then that person should be selected.

“Mr Bercow’s plan, which has been endorsed by all parties in parliament, is nothing but another means by which that criminal conspiracy seeks to undermine and destroy all that which made Britain great,” Ms Mozar said.

“The BNP is completely opposed to this blatant anti-white racism and will use this campaign to thoroughly expose Mr Bercow’s plans to put our people last,” she said.

Ms Mozar replaces the original BNP prospective candidate, Adam Worley, who has stood down for pressing personal reasons. Mr Worley will help Ms Mozar in her campaign.

Ms Mozar was born in London in 1944 and has lived most of her life in the South East of England, working in the corporate legal sector.

BNP prospective parliamentary candidate for North Swindon, Reg Bates, was forced off the first day of a four week NHS course, because someone objected to him wearing a T-shirt depicting a quote from the 1215 Magna Carta.

Mr Bates (pictured), a volunteer mental health worker for his local NHS, says the course facilitator, an assistant psychologist, took exception to his T-shirt on the spurious grounds that some unspecified person “may find it offensive.”

The “offending” T-shirt (pictured) depicts an image of English Christian knights on a crusade in the Holy Land, together with a text from around the same period, taken from the Magna Carta.

The text reads: “’We will dismiss out of our kingdom all foreign soldiers, bowmen, serving men, and mercenaries, who come with horses and arms to the nuisance thereof’. — Article 51, Magna Carta, 1215″.

Mr Bates was given a choice either to cover up the “offending” T-shirt or leave the course; he refused to be cowed by political correctness and chose the latter.

In a statement to the press office of the BNP’s South West region, he said: “I can’t imagine who might be offended by a T-shirt which quotes from an historic English document, a cornerstone of English law, in fact.

“The course I was on was about beating low self-esteem.

“Imagine how low my self-esteem was after being told I picked the wrong T-shirt to put on that morning.”

Undeterred by this act of blatant political correctness, Mr Bates intends to devote his now vacant next four weeks to some extra campaigning in his North Swindon constituency, where he will be taking on Labour’s Victor Agarwal, a Surrey resident, who was “parachuted in” to succeed Labour’s outgoing MP, Michael Wills.

As every schoolchild should know, the Magna Carta is an English legal charter which was issued under duress by King John in the year 1215.

It explicitly protected certain rights of the king’s subjects, whether “free or fettered”, and implicitly supported what became the writ of habeas corpus, allowing appeal against unlawful imprisonment.

The Magna Carta influenced the development of the common law and many constitutional documents, including the United States Constitution, and led to the rule of constitutional law which is used to this day in the English speaking world.

The good news is that you can purchase your very own “offensive” Magna Carta T-shirt here.

Mass immigration as pursued by both Tory and Labour parties are the cause of local housing crises, British National Party Mancot Councillor John Walker said last week during a demonstration outside Flintshire County Hall.

Cllr Walker took part in a demonstration of his constituents against a proposed Unitary Development Plan (UDP) proposal which seeks to build an extra 240 houses in the North Wales village which will add more than 1000 residents.

Cllr Walker said that the claim of local Labour MP Mark Tami and Labour AM Carl Sargeant that they supported the local community’s opposition was an “insult to people’s intelligence.”

“It is the Labour government in the Welsh Assembly and Westminster who are pushing the UDP’s projects onto the local authorities.

“This is due to a net nationwide increase in population of up to a million a year,” Cllr Walker, who is also the BNP’s candidate in the Alyn & Deeside constituency, said.

“This, in turn, is caused by the uncontrolled immigration invasion flood caused by the Labour Party.”

Dozens of Mancot residents took part in the demonstration, objecting to the project which they said would use up vital facilities and negatively affect their quality of life.

At a Flintshire council executive meeting earlier in the day, members voted unanimously to approve the proposal. Deputy council leader Cllr Tony Sharps confirmed the accuracy of Mr Walker’s blame on the Labour Party by saying that the “UDP is legislation; it’s law and will have to go through.”

The British National Party will be fighting the Maidenhead and Dover seats in England’s South East, regional organiser Andy McBride has announced.

In Maidenhead, former shipping and marine insurance executive Tim Rait will carry the party’s flag, while in Dover, former librarian Dennis Whiting will stand for the BNP.

Mr Rait, a former Conservative Party member who left the Tories in disgust at their conversion into a resuscitated version of the Labour Party, said he would “oppose our involvement in distant wars” and campaign to bring British troops home from Afghanistan.

“I believe that we should be able to make laws for Britain in our own parliament, rather than decisions being made abroad,” Mr Rait said.

“We must leave the EU and regain our independence. Our borders should be properly controlled.

“I am opposed to multiculturalism; we should protect and retain the British character of our land,” he said, adding that he also wanted “our countryside to be looked after and over development to be curbed.”

Mr Whiting, who is a veteran nationalist who has lived in East Kent for most of his life, said he was motivated by a “love for our country” and a concern at the manner in “which it has lost its way.”

“I believe in the revival of British manufacturing industry and in creating the conditions for family farms and small businesses to flourish,” Mr Whiting said.

“I want us out of the EU and am totally opposed to the alien influences such as Islamism and Globalism.

“As a Catholic, I oppose abortion and am a fervent believer in traditional Christian values,” he said.

Mr McBride, a 25-year veteran businessman, said his work experience had given him a unique insight into the complex regulations imposed upon British companies by the unelected civil servants in Brussels.

“I want to end this bureaucratic nightmare into which British companies are placed by these unelected bureaucrats,” Mr McBride said.

“It has been my intention for the last 20 years to get Britain out of the European Economic Union. The BNP is the only legitimate party through which this can be achieved,” he said.

Mr McBride has been married for 35 years and has six children and three grandchildren. He has lived all his life in the South East and was born in Berkshire.

Lifelong Bristol resident David Scott will fight the Filton and Bradley Stoke seat, while the Bristol East seat will be contested by Keynsham resident Brian Jenkins. Former British Aerospace worker Colin Chidsey will fight the Bristol South seat.

Mr Scott, whose children have all attended South Gloucestershire Schools, saw active service with the local County Infantry Regiment.

Mr Chidsey will campaign on getting British troops out of Afghanistan and for protecting local Bristol jobs.

Mr Jenkins, who was recently publicly endorsed by World War II Normandy veteran Bob Head (pictured below) is committed to campaigning for Britain’s withdrawal from the EU and a better deal for pensioners.

A regional newspaper owned by the Labour Party-supporting Trinity Group has helped to fund the British National Party’s election campaign against alleged bank robber Peter Hain in the Neath constituency, reports West Wales deputy organiser Roger Phillips.

The Wales on Sunday newspaper paid over £259.99 to the BNP in an out-of-court settlement after an infringement of copyright after it included a photograph from Mr Phillips’ page on a social networking website.

A statement issued by the BNP media unit said that the “article used a photograph taken by BNP official Clive Bennett from Swansea which was lifted without authorisation from Mr Phillips’ personal Facebook account.

“After correspondence between the editor of the Wales on Sunday, Tim Gordon, and Mr Phillips, the paper decided to settle out of court and agreed to pay the amount of £259.99 as compensation.

“Mr Phillips has now used this money to partly fund a BNP candidate in the Neath seat against Peter Hain.”

A Trinity Mirror spokesman said the company would not be making any comment.

In the video below, Mr Phillips explains the background to the incident and how the money is to be used to fight Mr Hain.

* Mr Hain is a long-time far leftist activist who is most famous for his violence during his anti-apartheid activist days and for his arrest on bank robbery charges in 1975.

On Friday, 24 October 1975, Barclays Bank in Putney was robbed of £490 by a man who entered the premises and grabbed the money.

Police were given a description of the robber by the bank cashier who had been forced to hand over the money, and three schoolboys who witnessed the robbery.

The schoolboys followed the suspect who then threw the money away and climbed into a blue Volkswagen Beetle and drove away.

Based on the boys’ description of the suspect, and the vehicle’s description (which included the number plate), Mr Hain was identified by the police and arrested at his nearby home a short while later.

He admitted to being out in his car at the time, but claimed he was buying a typewriter ribbon near the bank.

Mr Hain was later positively identified by the bank cashier at a police line-up.

Laughably, Mr Hain claimed that he had been “set up” with a body double by mysterious “South African intelligence agents” and pleaded not guilty in the resultant court case.

Mr Hain’s lawyers considered the defence so pathetic that they did not even enter it into the court records, and instead relied on the fact that the case had been given undue publicity which, they claimed, would have affected the reliability of the eyewitnesses.

Based on this defence alone, and disregarding the four eyewitnesses who positively identified Mr Hain as the bank robber, he was found not guilty. The judge, Alan King-Hamilton, told the jury that “Your conclusion was obviously a very difficult one.”

The British National Party’s membership line was opened for business just before 5pm today and when it closed just before 8pm, some 515 membership applications and over £14,000 had been raised, reports the party’s administrative staff.

This unprecedented rush of new applications — translating into over 170 new members per hour — seems set to continue when the membership lines reopen at 9am tomorrow morning.

The wave of support has followed the blatant political persecution of the BNP by the Labour Party-front organisation, the Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), which reached its climax in court today.

New members can apply after hours online by clicking here or during office hours by dialling 020 078 3269.

The skulduggery and attempted intimidation by the EHRC and the far leftist anti-British traitors who sit behind it will not deter the British National Party from pursuing its objective of securing Britain as a homeland for the British people.

First port of call was Aberdeen followed by a trip up Royal Deeside through towns in the constituency.

“The loudspeaker was ably manned by Steve Thompson whose non-stop patter made sure our message was clearly put across to the public,” Mr Raikes said.

“In one day, BNP Scotland reached more people than a month of leafleting would have achieved,” Mr Raikes said. “Never before have so few brought the message to so many.”

The British National Party in Lincolnshire aims to field at least six parliamentary candidates — out of the seven seats in the region — it was announced at the latest meeting of the Boston, Holbeach and Spalding group.

Organiser Anthony Williams said that the South Holland area had provided the best BNP vote during the Euro elections and that this had laid the basis for a good result in the upcoming general election.

Prospective parliamentary candidate for Sleaford and Hykeham, Councillor Mike Clayton, briefly addressed the meeting on the loss of Britain’s sovereignty since the implementation of the Lisbon Treaty.

“We now face the final destruction of Britain unless we make a stand now,” Cllr Clayton said.

Guest speaker for the night was Reverend Robert West, who is also the party’s candidate in Lincoln.

“There is so much wrong with Britain,” Rev West said.

“I think Lincoln is right up there along with the rest of the country in having concerns about family values, the lack of discipline in schools and the massive rise in crime.

“This is partly to do with immigration but also due to a collapse in values in this country. I think the Bishop of Lincoln is a character who needs to be challenged to stand up for Christianity more because he’s not doing enough.”

An appeal raised £160 towards election costs; several new activists were recruited and another potential candidate came forward.

“This means that we are able to fight six of the seven seats,” Cllr Clayton said. “Anyone wanting to help fund a candidate for the last remaining seat, Gainsborough, West Lindsey, is urged to contact us via email on eastmids@bnp.org.uk,” he added.

Cllr Wilkinson, who sits on the Burnley council and who won fame last year after being elected to the Lancashire County Council with a massive 30 percent of the vote, was announced as the party’s parliamentary candidate at the same meeting.

She currently represents the Hapton with Park ward and is leader of the BNP group on Burnley council.

Cllr Wilkinson is one of the most experienced and longest serving councillors in the party, and sits on the Better Services Scrutiny Committee, the Development Control Committee, the Member Structures and Support Working Group and the Finance and Performance Scrutiny Panel.

The successful meeting was addressed by BNP foreign affairs spokesman Arthur Kemp who also conducted the fundraising effort.

An attempt by some Conservative Party councillors in Norfolk to grant permission for a new mosque in King’s Lynn was narrowly defeated after a hearing on the matter was dominated by British National Party objections.

The objections were submitted by a delegation of BNP parliamentary candidates comprising David Fleming (North West Norfolk), Dennis Pearce (South West Norfolk) and Christene Kelly (Mid Norfolk), pictured left.

The objection was carried by a 9 to 7 margin on the development control board of the planning committee of the borough council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk.

During his address, Mr Fleming tore apart the original application to start a mosque on an industrial estate in King’s Lynn.

He started off by querying the projected figures of 50 devotees attending Friday prayers and the estimated 20 or 30 people who would attend other activities in the proposed mosque.

“Will the projected figures remain static?” Mr Fleming asked the committee.

“Furthermore, in the likely event of expansion, can a small market town like King’s Lynn absorb an increase in the numbers?”

He went on to challenge the application within the parameters of the highway’s authority, citing minimal parking and dangerous pedestrian access with the regular passing of heavy goods vehicles.

Mr Fleming then discussed how the change of use of the site would generate a “marked increase in motor vehicles on through roads.”

“This has a potential connection to national air quality strategy as outlined in the Environment Act 1995 part iv, and from there to the connected duties of local authorities under this act,” he said.

“Extra vehicular movement would only serve to exacerbate an already parlous traffic problem in Kings Lynn, particularly on Fridays.”

Mr Fleming moved on to refute the argument that an Islamic centre would benefit the local economy.

He pointed out that an “Islamic community will not bring any economic well-being whatsoever to an industrial estate or to any other type of neighbourhood since Islam is separatist in financial matters as well as in other matters.”

Dealing with purported social integration, Mr Fleming said: “any Islamic project threatens social cohesion because Islam sequesters and segregates finances, social interaction, and the general conduct of both working and domestic life, to avoid contamination by non-Muslim practices.

“Islam governs all aspects of a citizen’s life, and permits little, if any, departure from its rules.

“Islam does not permit half measures in its daily practice and observance; however, half measures are permitted by Islam if they are necessary to work towards a life in full accordance with Islamic law,” he said.

As an example, Mr Fleming pointed out that a claim in the original application that the mosque would “help Muslims integrate within the wider society” would be heresy in an orthodox Islamic country.

On a practical note, he added that industrial estates were unsuitable for any places of worship regardless of religion.

Mr Fleming later expressed his satisfaction at the rejection of the application, but was worried about the narrowness of the 9 to 7 vote “considering that 14 out of 16 members are Conservative.”

“We are talking about rural Middle England, not Brick Lane, E1,” he said.

“These people are insulated from ‘urbanisation’ and the ostracism of the indigenous populations.

“We have local elections next year where some of the Tory old guard are standing down to be replaced by inevitable Cameronites. I envisage the King’s Lynn Muslims saying ‘one more heave’.

“The local BNP must be forever vigilant to an insidious permeation of Lord Nelson country,” Mr Fleming said.

“For my part, I will make this proposed Islamic Centre a key issue at the general election with a slogan: “Yes to Fenland; no to Fenistan.”

* Mr Fleming also expressed his thanks to the BNP’s candidate for Broadland, Edith Crowther, who supplied much of the information contained in the BNP submission.

The British National Party’s candidate in the Nottinghamshire seat of Sherwood will be the ever-popular Councillor James North, the party’s East Midlands press officer, John Ryde has announced.

“Cllr North will contest Sherwood thanks to generous donations by Derek Butler and Cliff Brown to fund the deposit and leaflets,” said Mr Ryde.

In a joint statement, the two donors said that the “attempts by Trevor Phillips and the EHRC to drain the party financially through the courts had failed spectacularly.

“Mr Phillips has so angered lovers of democracy that he has single-handedly opened the floodgates of financial support to the BNP, enabling us to stand far more candidates than we have ever anticipated,” they said.

Cllr North is the BNP councillor’s representative on the party’s Advisory Council, a local parish councillor and the organiser of the successful Melton Mowbray group. Sherwood is a Labour stronghold was last contested by the BNP in 1997.
