Maldon BNP took to the streets of Witham town in Essex on 22 November to show the fascists who tried to intimidate the party over the last week that they have failed miserably.
Clive Godfrey, Maldon organiser, reported that the public’s response was, as everywhere else, great. “People wanted to talk about events, and we signed up a member on the spot and handed out many more membership application forms, particularly to families who wished to join en masse,” Mr Godfrey said.
“People said how disgusted they were with the reaction to the BNP’s membership list being leaked, with some even saying they now know what it was like to live in a fascist state.”
The outreach effort distributed a large amount of papers, and a healthy number of donations from the public has boosted the coffers of the branch.

Public interest in the British National Party is at an all-time high, reports North East Essex group organiser Jim Taylor.
Speaking after yet another highly successful BNP outreach initiative in the seaside town of Clacton-on-Sea, held on 22 November, Mr Taylor said that the public’s response was overwhelming, with total strangers donating more than £60 on the spot to the BNP table (image alongside).
Twelve BNP activists took to the streets of the town, successfully destroying the media stereotyping of the BNP, and showing that the hardworking activists of this party are undaunted by recent events.
Group secretary Keith Beaumont spoke with several passers-by, who were sympathetic to the way the BNP had been misrepresented by the media over the past week. Members were recruited on the spot, with many more taking membership application forms home for friends and family.

The table attracted a great deal of interest from passersby. Newspaper sales and donations boosted the party’s coffers, with many people taking membership application forms and some signing up then and there.

Last Saturday morning saw the British National Party appear in public for the first time in Colchester town centre to a fantastic reception from grateful locals.
Arranged by the North East Essex BNP group, the table had been set up by 9 am with organiser Jim Taylor and secretary Keith Beaumont being joined by ten activists. The group then spent the best part of the day leafleting both sides of the busy High Street.
The response was overwhelmingly positive, reported Mr Taylor. “We had troops from the 2nd-3rd Para who had just returned from Afghanistan eager to engage us with their horror stories of life on the front-line, and many members of the public enquired about joining our Party there and then.”
This was the first time Colchester town centre has been visited by the BNP, but it certainly won’t be the last.

As the British National Party continues to expand into all areas of Britain, party activists are striking out into regions which till now had never seen significant party activity before.
The latest example has come with the founding of a leafleting team who have set it as their target to cover as much of the Norfolk region as possible with BNP information pieces over the coming months. This is part of the organisation’s build-up to local and European elections next year.
Six local activists in Norfolk spent a sunny morning leafleting the suburbs of Norwich this week - a first for the Norwich area for a very long time.
Over 1000 of the new national leaflets were distributed to homes in the area. Local activists hope to continue spreading the word on a regular future basis in Norwich and also show support for West Norfolk in preparation for the European elections.
The reception from the public was overwhelmingly positive with many expressing an appreciation that the party was now active in the area as well, as it would give them something to vote for at long last.

More than 40 Norfolk BNP members enjoyed a delicious three course dinner on the evening of the 21st of October, Trafalgar Day, at a quality hotel in Norwich, Norfolk.
Held in remembrance of Admiral Lord Nelson and the Battle of Trafalgar and organised by local activist Julia Howman, members enjoyed the chance to socialise and enjoy celebrating a very historic moment in history, especially for Norfolk.
Lord Nelson was born at Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk, and is known locally as ‘The son of Norfolk’, and remembered in our hearts for his courage and his determination to win at all costs!
“We proudly raised our glasses to Lord Nelson after listening to a very worthy speech given by one very dedicated member about his life and the battle, which including Nelson’s Prayer,” said Ms. Howman.
£82 in funds were raised for the local group and also for the worthy charity Help for Heroes who support wounded British soldiers.

Activists from the North East Essex BNP had a very rewarding tabletop/leafleting day in Walton-on-Naze over the past weekend, just two weeks after another highly successful tabletop day in Clacton-on-Sea.
Colchester Organiser Jim Taylor and Tendring contact Keith Beaumont were both overwhelmed with the response they got from these small Essex seaside towns.
They ascribed the overwhelmingly positive response to the fact that most residents in these areas have fled the violence and multiculturalism of London and surrounding suburbs.
Jim Taylor was joined by eight seasoned activists including his group fundraisers: Beverley Neames and Dave Green.

The British National Party continues its outreach programme all over this country come rain or shine. In this case, it stayed dry all day as Maldon, Essex, BNP held a fantastically successful table top day of activism in that town centre.
Choosing the busiest day of the shopping week, Saturday morning, to strike, five members of Maldon BNP set up a table proudly advertising the party in the town centre on 4th October.
The piles of Voice of Freedom newspapers, Identity magazines and a range of local and national leaflets were snapped up by an appreciative public.
“It was an excellent day out, with many local people enquiring about the BNP and expressing their support,” said Clive Godfrey, Maldon organiser.
“Every time we go out, even we are surprised at the amount of support we get from members of the public who are sick and tired of the outrageous things which are going on in our country.
“We will be holding plenty more of these days of action in Maldon. The BNP is now firmly on the map here!” he said.
BNP Epping Forest District Councillor Exposes Tory Plan to Destroy Debden

The devious lying of the Tory Party in Epping Forest and town has been thoroughly exposed by BNP councillor Tony Frankland when he revealed to local inhabitants the reasoning behind a drive to build “new housing” on Debden’s greenbelt.
In a letter printed in a local newspaper, to which he has received a fantastic public response, Councillor Frankland discussed the background to the Tory duplicity:
“Editor,
I was one of the many local citizens who attended the district councils overview and scrutiny committee meeting on August 28th at the civic offices in Epping.
I, as well as the others, witnessed the Loughton Residents’ Association lead the attack against the Tory proposals to build on Debden’s green spaces.
I would add at this point that the British National Party are also fully in favour of stopping these proposals. However, it would seem that the Government’s reasons for the raids on residential land all around London was not mentioned.
As far as I can see there are two main reasons for this ‘land grab’ - we now have many more people living beyond the three score and ten years.
A second reason is the disgraceful lack of control of mass immigration by this and other previous governments, which has added to our current population explosion.
This creates a bigger need for more social housing and, where are these houses to be built - former recreational spaces.
Once again I would reiterate that the British National Party are not opposed to controlled immigration, only lack of control.
Call me cynical, but I notice that the proposed five areas are mainly British National Party strongholds, where the Conservatives have little or no support.
Cllr Tony Frankland, BNP Town Councillor
Alderton Ward”
