National Lottery funding is dished out to African dance troupes, prisoners’ painting classes and equipment for Peruvian guinea pig farmers — but not a single penny is available for any organisation which pledges to promote and protect English culture.

This shocking fact has emerged after South Wales British National Party superactivist Roger Philips asked the National Lottery Commission under a Freedom of Information (FOI) request about grants made to “good causes.”

The commission was “unable to assist” Mr Phillips, but they did provide a web link to the lottery grants database, which records all payments made since 1995 — and reveals some peculiar Labour government pet projects as the recipients of funding.

A search established that 153 grants amounting to £7,366,692 have been made to Muslim organisations, in comparison with 106 grants worth £3,366,924 made to Christian organisations, amounting to less than half of the total donated to Islamic causes.

There have been 2365 grants awarded to organisations which promote multicultural ideology, amounting to £184,278,549.

Schemes operating out of the heavily Islamified and Labour-controlled Tower Hamlets — with its 15,000 council staff and £1.1 billion budget — have received £207,563,446 in lottery grants since 1995.

The more unusual grants include:

£6,035,976 granted to the Black Photographers’ Association in 2002.

£5,078,472 granted to the British Refugee Council in 2007.

£2,000,000 granted to Pathe Productions for their Bollywood project in 2003.

£1,011,104 granted to Health Unlimited for a radio service broadcasting “in the vicinity of the African Great Lakes.”

£7,040,000 (2003) and £5,050,000 (2000) granted to ‘Rich Mix’ Cultural Foundation “for the promotion of ethnic minorities’ impact on the London economy and culture.” (The BNP website offers this service free of charge.)

The commission was keen to stress that they do not distribute the funds directly; responsibility is delegated to outside bodies who are selected by parliament, including arts, sports and films councils, and the Big Lottery Fund: the body responsible for distributing 670 million a year, of which 70 million goes to international projects.

The Big Lottery Fund receives around 14p of every pound paid into the lottery.

It has been heavily criticised in the past, once being compared to a Stealth Tax because the grants from this fund contribute towards projects that are usually, or should be, state-funded.

Labour ministers have been accused of using lottery funding to meet ministerial targets, or to meet Labour’s culturally Marxist ‘social objectives’.

The only indigenous English species the funding bodies seem concerned with are water invertebrates and plants.

News that party Chairman Nick Griffin had outmanoeuvred and outwitted the EHRC — allowing the membership to reopen — saw the website ranking surge almost 10,000 places, from a weekly average of 31,726 to 21,801 in the world rankings.

According to traffic analysts Alexa, the BNP website is now most popular amongst age groups 18–24, 45–54 and silver surfers of 65+.

Alexa also states that the average visitor is a university graduate accessing the BNP website from their home computers; this is in contrast with the average Labour Party website users who “have no college education and browse the Labour site from school.”

Amongst rival party sites the BNP has the most diverse global reach which gives the party the ability to connect with ex-pats all over the world, in particular, those residing within the commonwealth and Anglosphere.

Give Your Vote!: Relinquish your right to hold your politicians to account.

A project launched today by the Marxist Egality organisation is urging British voters to donate their democratic right to vote to third world citizens from Ghana, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

UK Participants will explain the policies of various UK political parties to their adopted foreign national; the participant will then act as a proxy, voting on behalf of their adoptee.

The scheme, known as ‘Give Your Vote’, claims that democracy has no borders and aims to give foreign nationals a chance to influence British policies on issues such as immigration, climate change and foreign aid.

Despite a national debt of 1.4 trillion pounds, Britain is already one of the world’s biggest donors of foreign aid, having shelled out 5.5 billion pounds between 2008 and 2009.

The group seems keen to punish the prosperity of Britain, citing UK carbon emissions as the cause of Bangladeshi poverty.

British Nationalists are unlikely to applaud the scheme after it was revealed that foreign Islamists already wield significant political influence in inner city constituencies.

Extreme left parties and the ruling Labour party are the expected beneficiaries of the proxy votes.

An Electoral Commission spokesman said that this is the first such scheme he has ever encountered and that the campaign is legal as long as the votes are not paid for.

Egality claims that hundreds have signed up for the scheme, with thousands more expected.

There is currently no such scheme allowing the British electorate to influence the governments of nations which inadvertently promote mass immigration because of poor governance.

Seven Muslim immigrants were arrested in the Republic of Ireland yesterday, over an alleged plot to murder a Swedish cartoonist who drew a picture of Mohammed with the body of a dog.

The bounty was placed upon the head of cartoonist Lars Vilks in 2007, by groups closely linked to al-Qaeda.

The group offered £67,000 for the murder of the cartoonist; a further £34,000 if he was murdered ‘like a lamb’, the technique used in barbaric halal slaughter.

It also offered £34,000 for the murder of the editor-in-chief who allowed the cartoon to appear in the regional newspaper, Nerikes Allehanda.

The pictures, published in 2007, were used as an excuse for rioting by Islamic colonisers in Sweden and caused diplomatic protests from Iran, Jordan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Egypt.

Mr Vilks remains in defiant mood, explaining that he has an axe ready should anybody breach his round-the-clock security.

“I’m not shaking with fear, exactly,” he told Swedish news agency TT after Tuesday’s arrests.

“I have prepared in different ways and I have an axe here in case someone should manage to get in through the window.”

According to reports, the Islamic extremists — three women and four men — were granted asylum regardless of the fact that they passed through several safe countries to arrive in the republic, having left their home countries of Morocco and Yemen.

An EU report has recommended that organisations which it describes as ‘racist’ be dissolved and has described the BNP’s electoral success as ‘unpalatable’.

While not specifically calling on the BNP to be dissolved, it is clear from the context of the report that this is what is intended.

In a report released on Tuesday by the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI), for the Council of Europe, said it was “greatly concerned” about the democratic election of two BNP members, together with the “substantial local support bases in certain regions”.

The ECRI asserts that emergency legislation adopted in 2002 should allow the UK government to dissolve legal and democratic organisations such as the BNP.

Aside from proposing anti-democratic manoeuvres, the ECRI makes the following recommendations:

1.) Increased funding for Trevor Phillips’ race Gestapo; the heavily criticised Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC).

The Zimbabwean government enacted a new law yesterday, the Indigenisation and Empowerment Act, which demands that the Black population must own a majority stake of any foreign-owned business operating in the failed state.

Under Sections 3 and 4 of the Act, foreign firms with an asset value in excess of £332,000 will have five years to sell 51% of their business to indigenous Zimbabweans.

Foreign firms have 40 days from today to inform the government of their plans to achieve majority indigenous ownership within five years, fully aware that failure to achieve this could carry a penalty of five years imprisonment.

Peculiarly, the Zimbabwean government defines its indigenous population as anybody who, before independence in 1981, “was subjected to unfair discrimination on the ground of their race, and includes a descendant of such a person”, suggesting that the government does not use the UN definition of indigenous peoples because Europeans claim to have settled in an uninhabited land.

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai rejects the law stating that it was published without due process, but Zimbabwean Dictator Robert Mugabe has threatened businesses that fail to comply, saying they would be ‘foolish’ to resist.

Economists have blasted the move as ‘potentially disastrous’, yet Mugabe’s mouthpiece media have dismissed these claims as the views of ‘Anglo-Saxon racists and colonists’, a position Mugabe repeatedly uses to protect his evil regime from the criticism of the advanced world.

This latest move follows the government’s revenge policy of looting White-owned farms in the country, turning what was once known as the ‘breadbasket of Africa’ into a net importer of food with hyperinflation reaching 98% per day, in November 2008 — the second highest hyperinflation of all time.

Foreword

This question was posed by a potential supporter; what follows is my subjective response. I hope you will add your thoughts and feelings on the question, to the comments section below.

M. Wood

You’re either a Nationalist or an Internationalist. Britain has arguably been internationalist since the beginning of our Empire-building. Some say Britain is run by, or for, the interest of big business. Big multinational conglomerates.

Britain has existed for too long as nothing more than a collection of consumers with a handy army should anything or anyone threaten the money-maker’s designs. At the height of Empire, Britain had 4 million unemployed at home; is internationalism nothing more than the ability to exploit cheap foreign labour at the expense of one’s own people? Demanding that these people, who once made commodities with their own hands, purchase products made by the hands of those whom now have their jobs and livelihood.

Sure, you can earn £20k in the service industry, but come retirement, what have you done but been a conduit between your people and internationalist corporations? Worse still, you may have traded your man power to produce wealth for other nations and peoples. After 45 years of work, you have not produced anything that will outlast you. There’s no testament to your existence, you did not produce anything, bar digits on a screen or worthless paper money.

The Beaker People: Metalsmiths 2500BC

Contrast this with the British archaeological artifacts such as jewellery or instruments of toil. They stand as a record of the daily-life of our ancestors, they have soul because they were made by human hand and mind. A visit to Stonehenge is an almost spiritual experience for those in pursuit of a connection with their ancestors. They leave an indelible mark that speaks to you from ages past – ‘we were here, we lived, we loved and we died.’

I am a nationalist because being British is more than just reverence for some hero involved in a glorious battle-field story from our rich history, or some cultural practice that is under siege from PC bureaucracy. No, it’s more tangible than that. Nationalists stand to protect and promote a nation’s most valuable asset, something real – its people.

‘I pay my taxes!’ Cry the recent arrivals, as if this is the major factor in judging one’s claims that they’re British. Our people have paid taxes, generation after generation. Our forebears paid a higher price, paid in blood, during the internationalist elites’ political repositioning on continental chessboards.

Of course, there are people facing hardship in the world. The hardship of our ancestors is not taught; is it taught that the life expectancy of early Britons was once just 24? Or that British mothers would often commit infanticide — murdering their babies — in anticipation of crop failures? Our people came through famine, plague, warfare and oppression – never abandoning this island when circumstances conspired to persuade them that emigration was the answer. They stayed and weathered the times. Would those almost broken people have persevered if they could foresee the dispossession of their lands when entrusted to our generation’s stewardship?

But all of this does not answer the question. Understanding of the hardship experienced by our people and the overall human story of our Island, this human history will endear you to British Nationalism. If it doesn’t? Then you have no heart, no soul; you have no national empathy and you cannot describe yourself as British. Let alone a British Nationalist.

‘We’re all human’, spit the multicultists and it is only human to desire to live amongst your own people in your own land.

The closure of the steel plant at Redcar, near Middlesborough, has resulted in another 1,700 British workers – most of them skilled – joining at least two million industrial workers whose jobs have been lost by Tory and Labour government’s embrace of globalisation.

They told us that the jobs and national income we would lose through selling our manufacturing industry to overseas bidders would be offset by increasing our service industries and specialising in high tech manufacturing. The reality is that the service sector brings in less than ten per cent of overseas earnings – and employs virtually zero ex-steel workers, coal miners, or Birmingham metal bashers. As for high tech manufacturing, they soon found that Germany and Japan had cornered most of the market.

It is only the BNP that is committed to protecting the remains of our manufacturing g industries, by tariffs where necessary. In the case of a vital sector such as steel making we believe that the costs of keeping it running would be offset by keeping its workers in employment – who would also be paying their NHS insurance and income tax.

Britain’s loss – India’s gain

Corus (formerly British Steel) is a subsidiary of the Tata Group, India’s largest business empire. What you won’t read in our national press, or hear discussed on mainstream TV, is that by closing down the Redcar steelworks it will receive around £600 million in ‘credits’ from the World Bank because of the carbon emissions this is alleged to save. The financing of these ‘carbon credits’ (all part of the global warming scam) comes under the United Nation’s Clean Development Mechanism (CDM).

Now what is really outrageous (apart from not hearing one word of criticism from the Lib-Lab-Con or the UKIP clowns) is that 1,700 British jobs have been lost on Teesside so that in India the same £600 million in UN CDM credits could be received by Tata for building a steelworks of similar capacity to Redcar in Orissa.

THE British National Party is proving more adept at using email as part of its digital election strategy than its rivals according to new research.

A study conducted by Return Path over a two month period (November to January) showed the three main parties missing out on opportunities to influence voters in the run-up to the General Election, which is expected to be held in May.

The study found that the British National Party sent the most emails, underscoring its use of digital media to fight the election. The Party sent a total of 20 messages and waited only 24-hours before sending its welcome message.

The Tories were best of the rest, sending 12 email messages over the period while Labour sent only one and the Liberal Democrats none at all.

The three parties also failed to send immediate welcome messages after people signed up to receive updates. It took the Tories six days to send email message and Labour 58 days.

While many companies are increasingly exploiting the integration of social media and email the UK’s political parties are not. They are still failing to make the best use of this.
The same is true of the two main parties and their websites. Neither displays its social media presence on the homepage with no invitations to “Become a fan” or to “Follow us on Twitter”.

Consultants are telling companies to integrate social media with their email marketing and to be sure to include links to their social media websites and blogs.
Yet according to the research only the Conservatives and the BNP have incorporated social media links into their email.

Unlike the British National Party, the three main parties are also failing on a most basic level of social media sharing with none of the parties including a send to a friend button in their email either or a donate button.

The man behind the development of an Islamic stock exchange hopes to cash in on the Government’s tax breaks by opening a £150m, 100 acre ‘super halal industrial park’, in South Wales.

Director Mahesh Jayanarayan said that the plans depend upon taxpayers’ money, using the euphemism ‘government grants’. The Welsh Assembly Government has a history of luring businesses to Wales only to see them flee when the grants end.

The scheme is promising to generate 3000 jobs for the Muslim and non-Muslim community, however, the director went on to state that they had chosen Britain and specifically South Wales because of its local Muslim colonies. Further to this, just 18 months ago the Government announced plans to import 5000 halal butchers from Pakistan.

“There are a lot of Muslims in Britain, and in Wales, which is important from our point of view. The industrial park will fit in very well in Wales,” said Jayanarayan.

Barbaric: Halal Butcher

Halal slaughter is the ritual killing of fully conscious animals. The procedure involves sawing into the neck of the animal, severing the carotid arteries and jugular veins; whilst leaving the spinal column intact. Muslims insist that this kills the animal instantly but brutal footage demonstrates that large animals — such as horses and cattle — can take as long as 10 minutes to die.

Common malpractice seems to involve the use of blunt knives that fail to sever the blood vessels, and serves up an extremely slow and painful death.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) has so far failed to lobby Parliament for the outlawing of this barbarity, perhaps fearful of angering the Islamic community. The organisation was heavily criticised last year when it failed to pursue the prosecution of an Islamic butcher who slaughtered a fully conscious lamb on a British military base. They concluded that this did not constitute ‘unnecessary suffering’, yet the act was carried out on a base where firearms were available.

Directors hope to see the construction of this gigantic animal hell within three years. At least the pigs are spared.

The Pendle branch of the British National Party raised £1500 at its meeting yesterday to launch their general election campaign.

Special guest speakers included Adam Walker and Cllr Chris Beverley. Mr Walker — a former soldier — gave a rousing speech about the war in Afghanistan: how it serves no British interest and why we shouldn’t be attempting to impose western democracy on people who clearly do not want it.

Cllr Beverley told of our struggle as a party, and how the media manipulates the things we say and do. He also warned against despondency if we somehow fail to return an MP this time.

Organiser James Jackman chaired the meeting and was also announced as the prospective parliamentary candidate for Pendle. Mr Jackman was pleasantly surprised when an attendee offered to sponsor him £500 for his general election deposit.

“It was a brilliant meeting; we have raised a fantastic amount towards our election campaign — a huge thank you to all the wonderful people that made the evening a success.

“We now have the ability to get out there and run the most comprehensive election campaign ever seen in Pendle,” said Mr Jackman.

Muslims have this country under control. Nobody can touch us," claims Muslim gangster.

Islamic gang members have claimed that fear of terrorist attacks has allowed them to gain control of large parts of the British underworld, particularly London.

Twenty-one-year-old Amir – an ex-gang member – says that Muslim drug dealers and credit card scammers have exploited the fear of terrorist attacks to force out white, black and Eastern European gangs. Many rival gangs are convinced that the Islamic gangland has ties with Al Qaeda and are fearful that any clashes will result in revenge bombings.

Amir described how their gangs have control of some of the country’s biggest prisons, using promises of expensive legal teams and protection if the inmates will convert to Islam. The prison system itself promotes conversion as Muslim inmates receive extra prayer time without guard supervision and superior quality halal meals.

Mosques have been described as ‘Islamic Barracks’. Amir revealed just how apt that description is, explaining that the gang members will use the mosque to hide from the police and rival gangs, until they’re ready to fight back using other local Muslims as a garrison force.

Rival gangs believe that the Muslim mob has an advantage over other ethnicities because they only deal with other Muslims. The Islamic colonisation of major English cities means that the gangs have a ready-made national network of willing accomplices.

Muslim gangs were involved in the racist hammer attack that left schoolboy Henry Webster brain-damaged. Testimonies made in the following court case stated that the school had a serious problem with extremist Muslim pupils since the 2005 London bombings.

“We have London all sewn up. Muslims have this country under control. Nobody can touch us,” declared Amir.

The United Kingdom Border Agency has been branded as ‘institutionally racist’ by Liberal Democrat MP Jenny Willot.

This follows allegations by a temporary employee at a Cardiff-based branch who claimed that many members of staff held anti-immigration views. She also claims that members of staff were awarded a stuffed toy gorilla as a ‘badge of shame’ whenever they approve an asylum application.

“When I complained about all of this, they just laughed in my face. I had to speak out, everybody else seemed fine with it,” said the former employee.

Readers will be aware of the damage caused to our police force when the odious Macpherson Report concluded that it was institutionally racist. There are seemingly many politicians belonging to the institutionally Marxist parties that would enjoy subverting our already overstretched border control. One could question the logic of labelling an organisation racist when it has allowed millions upon millions of illegal invaders to wash up on our shores — by government dictat rather than incompetence.

The agency’s common sense testing procedures are now under fire, such as asking asylum applicants to demonstrate the positions they were supposedly put in by enemy soldiers. This is the way you go about destroying an organisation; undermining the procedures that work; introducing more levels of bureaucracy and producing confusion.

Willot has promised to table parliamentary questions and to demand a ‘root and branch’ witch-hunt within the organisation. Last week, aggressive protestors from the Marxist ‘No Border’ group laid siege to the Branch in Cardiff.

Carlsberg don’t make immigration officers, but if they did, they’d probably be BNP members.

In a statement typical of UKIP’s underestimation of the electorate’s intelligence, Maloney claims that spelling Britain wrong was a deliberate error.

Unhindered by political correctness, French officials have denied citizenship to a man who forced his French wife to wear the Islamic full-face veil known as the burqa. The authorities cited the rejection of national values such as secularism and gender equality, as reasons for the move.

In 2008, the French rejected the application of a fully veiled Moroccan woman on the grounds that she was not sufficiently assimilated into French society. French law allows for the rejection of applicants if they fail to respect national values. No equivalent legislation is available to the British Border Agency.

This move follows tough words from the French government over potentially banning the full head-to-foot veils, with French ministers concerned about the corrosion of national identity in a country with a 5 million strong Muslim population and ever-growing areas of inner cities becoming Dar al-Islam – literally Islamic ghettos where the French police fear to tread.

During the application procedure, the Moroccan man had alarmed officials by claiming that his ‘wife will never be able to go out without the full veil.”

He added: “I don’t believe in gender equality; women have inferior status; I will not respect the principles of the secular society.”

The applicant is believed to be a member of the fundamentalist Tablighi Jamaat, 100,000 of whom reside in France. Tablighi Jamaat has recently focussed its resources on the United Kingdom. The organisation has embedded itself into at least 600 of Britain’s 1350 mosques.

President Nicholas Sarkozy has been cornered into defending French national identity having won his election by usurping the Front National’s defensive stance on French culture and simultaneously shoring up the ruling party’s right-flank. The proposal was finally put into action last week, when French Prime Minister François Fillon asked the Council of State to help draft a law banning the Islamic veil.

British ministers were said to be contemplating a ban on the burqa, however, this remains unlikely given the extent of the Islamic colonisation within some of their constituencies and Labour’s dependence upon the Muslim bloc vote, particularly Justice Secretary Jack Straw’s Blackburn seat.

Typically, French women’s rights groups have greeted this latest development with silence, much like their British counterparts.

* The British National Party is committed to banning the burqa from public buildings and schools.

* The full-face veil is not specifically mentioned in any Islamic holy text, but it is said to have a twofold practical use in Islamic tradition; to act as a sand mask; to confuse enemy tribes whilst they are selecting which women to kidnap and rape during a raid – they may well end up with an elderly woman. Europe has a temperate climate and no desert, rendering the Burqa obsolete in that respect. I was about to say that we don’t have marauding tribes raping people on our streets, but then I realised I would be wrong.

A 12-year battle against the building of a mosque has finally ended today, after a Facebook page set up by residents of Clitheroe, Lancashire, to protest against the conversion of their local church into a mosque was closed down by social network staff. The local police requested the removal after receiving complaints from the Islamic community.

The group named ‘We Don’t Want a Mosque in Clitheroe’, had attracted almost 1,700 supporters. Heated discussions were listed, detailing the impacts of the mosque upon local traffic levels, falling house prices and noise pollution. Others questioned why 15,000 non-Muslim residents should suffer from the impacts, whilst the positives are reaped by merely 300 (2% of pop.) members of the town.

In 2003, Clitheroe BNP were called upon to campaign against the upgrading of Medina Islamic Education Centre (MIEC) to a fully functioning mosque. Residents approached the group following pro-mosque propaganda published in the community news bulletin, which featured support from the Reverend Richard Atkinson, minister of Trinity Methodist Church.

“I hope that the Islamic community’s desire for a place of worship be realised in the near future,” said Rev Atkinson. This sentiment was echoed by Lord Adam Patel of Blackburn, also a resident of Ribble Valley.

Despite massive public opposition in the market town and almost 1,000 letters of objection, planning permission was granted by Ribble Valley Borough Council in 2006. This news was greeted with disbelief by local indigenous residents, in stark contrast to the Islamic residents, one of whom, claimed: “This is a victory in our 40-year battle against the council, to establish a mosque.”

Local resident and anti-mosque campaigner Mark Towers explained: “This is a sad day; we’ve been fighting this since 1998. It has taken 12 years but they’ve finally worn us down, and the Tory-controlled borough council just caved in.”

Perhaps one scrap of comfort – should the community leaders decide to Islamicise the existing structure with minarets – is that famous ‘Matchstick Man’ artist L.S. Lowry immortalised the church in one of his works. The Islamic group have already changed the name of the chapel, from Mount Zion to Mount Vale.

Conversion of the Mount Zion Methodist Chapel begins this month.

By Joe Priestley — The Sunday Times this weekend (17/1/10) interviewed Anjem Choudary, leader of the recently banned ‘Islam4UK’ group, a label that says a great deal about the mentality of those that designed it. The questions were asked by Camilla Long.

It was a highly predictable piece. Typical Times: I was left wondering whether its purpose was to tell us about Choudary or to have us think about Islam and Muslims in the way that the establishment would have us think of them.

Ms Long didn’t so much skate over the issues as skate round them. My suspicion is that she was too conscious of the dictates of political correctness to go anywhere near the nitty-gritty of what constitutes Mr Choudary and that that he represents.

Curiously, throughout the interview, Choudary called Camilla Long ‘Audrey’ – even though he’d checked her press card and knew that that wasn’t her name. What was his point? I was surprised and a bit disappointed that Ms Long didn’t delve into this; why didn’t she want to know why Choudary was deliberately getting her name wrong. But then again in this interview she didn’t really delve into anything.

Initially I wondered whether he was taunting the attractive and obviously posh Camilla Long with a name that today one would associate with an older working class woman. Or maybe he was trying to offend her by drawing a parallel with the soap character that goes by the name. Or maybe he was merely trying to irritate her. Whatever he was doing he wasn’t doing it out of the goodness in his heart.

“I’m not Audrey,” she said, “I’m Camilla.”

“What does that mean?” asks Choudary.

What an odd question. Since when did Muslim clerics show an interest in the etymology of Christian names? Of course the issue doesn’t register with Ms Long. She took Choudary at face value in a typically liberal fashion and answered without a thought, “It’s Latin for slave girl.”

I don’t know about you but Choudary’s question had me investigating the meaning of Audrey – I read that at one time it was unpopular because of its association with the word tawdry. I wonder if Choudary read this.

Ms Long opens her piece with a forthright “Obviously I was never going to see eye to eye with the benefit-clogging Muslim hate cleric…” I say, steady on old girl. She continues, “…but I didn’t realise how many of his own community think he’s dreadful too.” That’s more like it.

What, she ‘didn’t realise’ that the vast majority of Muslims are moderates? Pull the other one Camilla love. It’s a necessary requirement for inclusion into the ranks of the main stream media to realise, without a shadow of doubt, just how moderate the majority of Muslims are – and to shout it if not from the rooftops then from the headlines. Islam is the religion of peace, don’t forget. How can she not realise it? Does she not read her own newspaper or any of its stable mates? Does she not watch the telly? It’s the message they all do their best to send us. In fact it’s the message Ms Long is sending in her own article.

She quotes a waiter in the ‘halaal diner’ that housed the interview, “Is that the coffin man?” he asked of Choudary, “I can’t bear him.”

What! Another ‘moderate Muslim’ speaking against him – it just goes to show how moderate these Muslims are, eh Camilla? Wink, wink. And as if to emphasise his total opposition to Choudary, the waiter adds, “I don’t see much difference between him and Nick Griffin.”

Right on cue. I was beginning to wonder when Nick Griffin or the BNP would make an appearance. Of course Ms Long didn’t ask the waiter what he meant – presumably she assumed we’d all know what he was talking about. I was left wondering in what sense Nick Griffin and Anjem Choudary are supposedly alike other than perhaps in their opposition to the liberal mindset.

This interview is a microcosm of the relationship of Western-liberalism to Islam. Camilla Long bent over backwards to accommodate Choudary just as Western Liberals bend over backwards to accommodate Muslims. She refused to take his threats seriously in the same way that the liberal establishment refuses to address the threat that Islam poses to our way of life. The subtext of the whole exercise was the moderateness of the Muslim community; even Choudary’s supposed extremism was made to serve that interest.

In sharp contrast Anjem Choudary showed his host absolutely no respect. He made no effort at all to hide his contempt for her liberal weakness and saw it merely as something to be taken advantage of. Such is his disregard for Ms Long and indeed for the British state and its people Choudary felt perfectly at liberty to threaten one and all.

He made no bones about it. His aim is the “imposition” of sharia law, and he talks quite openly of a military coup as a means of creating an Islamic state in Britain. His companions, “…a noisy rabble of bearded young men,” tell of conversions to Islam and of trips to the Middle East. Choudary boasts of advocating “…no cooperation with the police in the fight against terrorism.”

In response Ms Long feigns amusement: “But the funniest thing…”

It’s the same old story – the establishment doesn’t want to take these fanatics seriously because it fears the consequences for its madhouse utopia the multiracial multicultural society. So instead, when they’re not kowtowing to them, they say we should laugh at them.

And what was it that Camilla Long found so amusing about Anjem Choudary? Apparently she split her sides on learning that his undergraduate days were “…spent downing pints, smoking dope, ogling porn…”

Why is that funny? Is she not convinced by his conversion from decadent Western student to strident Muslim? And if not, why not? On the evidence contained in this interview Choudary’s conversion is a lot more convincing than Young’s amusement which I suspect was nothing more than a liberal’s nervous giggle.

By John Bean — The ever expanding EU regulations will cost the British taxpayer at least £184billion over the next 10 years (this is in addition to our £6.4billion annual net contribution).

According to ‘Europe Open’ the second most costly regulation is the Climate Change Act which will soon add £130 to £200 a year to the annual energy bill for a typical UK family. Much of this is going into the installation of costly windmills as a power source.

None of the above costs will be reduced, let alone eliminated, by the LibLabCon parties despite the enormous black hole of national debt which has to be tackled by any incoming new government – and if it is headed by Cameron it will also continue with an increased total overseas aid programme costing in excess of £10billion.

The effectiveness of what the old discredited parties are offering to tackle the gigantic debt that their globalist, multiculturally-obsessed policies produced can be equated with the value of the power generated by our expensive national array of windmills. For ten days of this winter’s deep freeze when temperatures were at their lowest, not one windmill blade turned from the Suffolk coast to the Scottish highlands.

The problem was that when a high pressure area settles over Britain in the winter it gives two weather effects. Very cold temperatures and low wind speeds. And as they were below 7.5 mph, the windmills did not work.

Yet Brown – fully backed by the evergreen Cameronite Tories and the politically pointless Lib Dems - has committed us to a £200 billion dash for wind. Power companies have been awarded contracts to build 6,400 wind turbines off the British coast. Not one turbine has been built in Britain so far – they are either imported from Germany or Denmark. As for the much-heralded “extra British jobs” this will bring, the only major source will be the redundant fishermen whose jobs have been taken by the French and Spanish and for the future can crew the service boats for the offshore wind farms.

If all these proposed 6,400 wind turbines were installed by 2020, which at present engineering capabilities is an impossible target, then as long as the wind blew at the right speed the peak capacity would provide 25 per cent of our power needs. The variability of the wind being what it is means that there must always be a conventional power source back-up, whether it be coal, gas, oil or nuclear power.

But the EU has already said that we must close our coal-fired power stations in six years and that they will not give exception to the proposed clean coal operated power stations. Led by the French and German owned companies, the UK power companies have now said they will require £100billion investment to build a “super-grid” connected to Europe to guarantee a steady power supply.

Having led the way five years ago in pointing out that we had reached “peak oil”, the BNP supports development of alternative energy sources, which includes wave power, nuclear power, solar energy panels and, as we still have millions of tonnes of coal deposits, effective clean-coal operated power stations.

We recognise that there is a definite place for small wind turbines which have been proven as an effective back-up source for power generation for individual homes, farms and small manufacturing units. But it is the fact that they will always need back-up that makes them a financial disaster on the mass scale envisaged by the LibLabCon.

Recommended reading: The Wind Farm Scam by John Etherington.

Dr Etherington argues that wind turbines cannot generate enough energy to reduce global CO2 levels to a meaningful degree; what’s more wind power is by nature intermittent and cannot generate a steady output, necessitating back-up coal and gas power plants that significantly negate the saving of greenhouse gas emissions. In addition to the inefficacy of wind power there are ecological drawbacks, including damage to habitats, wildlife and the far-from-insignificant aesthetic drawback of the assault upon natural beauty and the pristine landscape, which wind turbines entail. He argues that wind power has been, and is being, excessively financed at the cost of consumers who have not been consulted, nor informed that this effective subsidy is being paid from their bills to support an industry that cannot be cost efficient or, ultimately, favour the cause it purports to support. 300 pages.Paperback. £9.99
