Blackpool BNP Gear up for General Election

January 27, 2010 - By BNP News

Blackpool-Feb-2010

Many new faces were present at the February meeting of the Blackpool British National Party branch to support the launch of a fresh leafleting drive for the new year, reports branch organiser James Clayton.

Guest speaker Tom Gower, BNP Enquires Secretary and Coventry Organiser, left the audience in no doubt that the BNP was the only way that Blackpool could avoid being blighted by radical Islam and mass immigration as has happened to his home town.

Mr Clayton advised the attendees that a return to the daily leafleting sessions of early 2009 was needed in order to support the multiple candidates the branch intends to field for the general election.

“Our finances are looking healthy but we are not a branch that does things by halves,” Mr Clayton said.

“We will continue to vigorously raise funds in order to execute our most professional campaign yet. I have been particularly inspired this evening after speaking to a former soldier who was attending his first BNP meeting,” he said.

“Despite serving his country for many years and completing several tours of active service, this man is being constantly hampered by government red tape and incompetence as he moves to set a new life in ‘civvy street’. Cases like this remind me and our members here of the drastic changes needed in Britain that only the BNP can deliver,” Mr Clayton said.

Over £160 was raised from the raffle and collection.
