I am an ex tory supporter, and can assure you I despise them more than I despise labour. I'd sooner stick my most sensitive parts into a hornet's nest than vote tory now. I'm BNP for life, and as soon as my finances improve,I'll prove that with life membership. For now,I'll just have to stick to leafletting every weekend and spreading the word wherever I can to whoever will listen. Ten of us were out in the rain plodding the streets of Poole last Sunday, and a similar number will be out this sunday, come rain or shine.

I do hope you will get past the rude names they call us and actually look at what we say on a whole range of things, all of great importance to the peoples of this land. It is not only mass immigration and the EU that have damaged our people. Our manufacturing base is fast disappearing, our sources of energy supply and other assets are being sold from under us. The benefits system is a shambles, whereby the genuinely in need must often struggle just to get by. At the same time too many able bodied accept living off the state as a right. The fishing industry is in a mess, and as for education - well one just despairs. The family unit is not supported as it should be. Decent law abiding citizens are increasingly watched and hectored by the state. I don't advocate going backwards but there is much to be said for a return to some good old fashioned values.Of course you won't agree on everything but come the the day I hope you will choose my lot. Yes I do want my country back and less pandering to immigrants but above all I want good and fair governance.

....continued....

In any case, what the BNP really needs is financial backing in order to field candidates across the board. New members may mean a bit more money, but it is as peanuts compared with the money from big business (who are interested in global and not national economies) the other parties have at their disposal. UKIP have enormous financial resources, which begs the question: where do they get their money from? Either it comes from big business, which would prove them to be pro-globalisation, or from the other parties, which would prove them to be a Trojan horse. As regards the election, UKIP, of course, play the "BNP is a racist party" line in order to win potential BNP voters, but I think they have misjudged the mood of the people, who are fed up of being called "racists" every two minutes and the word has become an irrelevence to them. Therefore, the only vote they will split is the Tory vote, which is good for us in gaining seats, but bad in the fact that it will also increase Labour's share.

I think UKIP-ers are mainly committed old-style Tories and if UKIP imploded would go back tail-between-the-legs to the Conservative Party. The UKIP-ers that really want change for this country have already joined the BNP, having seen first-hand that everything they believed was a sham, therefore we would not gain any new members.

There may be a voting problem at the next general election. WHY? This government are considering making changes to the way we vote. Instead of voting for one party, they are introducing a system of 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices. Now just like me, I will not want to vote for any other party, and will vote BNP on the ballot paper, however, this may become dull and void by doing so. You will see electoral fraud is already begining to take place, before the next election.

"Once a Tory always a Tory"? Well I have always been a nationalist, but was once in the Conservative party (like a lot of BNPers) - so where, Grumpygit, does that leave me?
