South Tyneside BNP Holds Final Meeting for 2009

December 15, 2009 - By BNP News

south-tyneside-jbLast week saw the final South Tyneside British National Party meeting for the year, reports our North East correspondent.

The well attended meeting was opened by Adam Woods who urged those present to argue the BNP’s case by speaking up when lies and half truths are told about our party.

Organiser Peter Hodgkinson spoke about Labour’s failed education policy and showed how the Government’s ideology had led to the overall deterioration of education in spite of increased funding.

Fund holder Martin Vaughan covered media issues as well as the importance of keeping activity going right up to the local and general elections. He reiterated the need to continue fund raising which will be needed for the elections.

After an excellent buffet, special guest speaker for the evening was Cultural Officer Jonathan Bowden. Delighted South Tynesiders gave him a warm welcome after his long journey from Sussex to the North East.

Widely recognised as one of the best speakers in the party, Mr Bowden captivated the audience with his exceptional knowledge on a variety of topics which ranged from the demise of the Empire to the present state of our economy.

Following a well deserved standing ovation the meeting ended on a high note with the audience standing to sing Jerusalem.

A collection raised what can only be described as a “healthy” amount towards branch funds.
