Nick Griffin Makes First Donation to English Fair Fund from His EU Salary
British National Party leader and MEP for the North West, Nick Griffin, has handed over the first donation to community projects in his constituency this week during a meeting with super activist Sharon Wilkinson in Burnley.
Mr Griffin and his wife Jackie made a special visit to Burnley to meet up with Mrs Wilkinson, who is a Lancashire County Councillor and leader of the BNP group on Burnley Council.
Mr and Mrs Griffin joined Mrs Wilkinson to help out for a morning at the community centre where the BNP dynamo cooks and serves hot meals to elderly constituents.
“Mrs Wilkinson is now our longest serving councillor and her historic election this year onto the county council is testament to her incredible work rate,” Mr Griffin told BNP News.
“She has a 100 percent attendance record at council meetings and is famous for the help she gives to the people of Burnley,” he said.
While meeting with Mrs Wilkinson, Mr Griffin presented her with a cheque for £150 from the English Fair fund. This is a community fund into which Mr Griffin donates 10 percent of his EU wages every month, and which is used to finance community projects in his constituency.
