Media Rebuttal Unit Takes Several More Media Scalps

December 17, 2009 - By BNP News

media-lies-lower01As soon as the notorious lying The Sun newspaper published a smear story headlined “BNP banquet to raise 250k flops”, the BNP’s Media Rebuttal Unit swung into action and forced The Sun, via the Press Complaints Commission, to amend their online version of the article to include a quote from Cllr Paul Golding rubbishing the false claims.

This is the second victory over The Sun newspaper in the last three weeks.

A second victory has been achieved over the lying Daily Telegraph, which falsely claimed that Chairman Nick Griffin had visited the tomb of Spanish dictator General Franco whilst on a trip to Spain recently. The story was, as usual, a monstrous falsehood.

The Daily Telegraph has now been forced to publish a correction in a future edition of that newspaper.

Victory has also been achieved against another lying gutter rag, The Daily Star. That paper published a galactic falsehood when they claimed that the BNP had approached an obscure American martial artist and “begged” him to show our activists how to “kill with one punch.”

Although it was almost too ridiculous to be taken seriously, the Media Rebuttal Unit nevertheless forced The Daily Star to permanently delete the offending article from their website.

“Although in its infancy, the Media Rebuttal Unit is clocking up victory after victory. We are recruiting volunteers to handle the increased workload that will no doubt result from a media-wide smear campaign in the run-up to the General Election,” said the Media Rebuttal Unit’s Cllr Paul Golding.
