West Midlands Regional Treasurer Appointed

The West Midlands region of the British National Party has appointed its regional treasurer, regional organiser Alwyn Deacon has announced.
“The appointment of Christina Evans to the post of regional treasurer was made at the recent East and West Midlands fund holder training seminar,” Mr Deacon told BNP News.
Ms Evans becomes the third regional treasurer to be appointed (after the East Midlands and the South West) in terms of a new party policy to decentralise the regional treasury work.
The fund holder training seminar was held by deputy treasurer David Hannam and covered all aspects of compliance with the legal requirements of party political funds, including how to record donations and keep accurate and correct books.
“This is just one of several training programmes that are planned to move the region forward and make it even more professional,” said Mr Deacon.
Mr Hannam told BNP News that he was very impressed with the turnout and the quality of fund holders in both regions and would be able to report back to the Treasury Department that both East and West Midlands are in excellent hands.
