Warning: “Asda Abduction” Story Is a Hoax
The British National Party urges people not to be fooled by a fake email and text message rumour currently circulating about an “abduction” of a girl in an Asda supermarket by “Romanian gypsies.” There is no truth to this story and people are urged not to forward it or encourage its further dissemination.
The story which is currently circulating is a rehash of a rumour which has dogged Walmart stores in America for more than 20 years. It is possibly no coincidence that the same story has emerged about Asda, which is owned by the Walmart Group of companies.
According to the story, a little girl is abducted inside the shop and taken to the toilets. There, her hair is cut short and she is dressed as a boy so that she can be smuggled out. Police have confirmed to BNP inquirers that the story has emerged in at least three towns in Britain.
Britain has more than enough real problems to deal with resulting from immigration without false stories circulating as well.
These false stories are the product either of sick minds or people determined to undermine the legitimate concerns the public has about immigration by making a mockery of the problem.
Please then, do not engage in helping to spread lies. More can be read about this long-running hoax on Snopes.com by clicking here.
