I hope the powers that be really clamp down further on expense thieves like Mr Wise here.

I thought UKIP was a libertarian outfit as opposed to a socialist one such as the BNP. One believes in private enterprise/small state, and the other believes in public ownership/big state. Tom Wise was obviously as addicted to other people's money as a New Labour champagne socialist. The difference being that he is in jail. Then again, following Nick Griffin's disgusting treatment on Question Time, we all know about double standards when the London cosmomafia are involved. It only takes one to let the side down and the BNP have it the toughest of all and so must maintain higher standards.

He was caught because of a newspaper investigation. Not because of a police investigation or a auditors investigation but a newspaper. Will we now see a effort by the eu parliments auditors to investigate all exspenses or again will they be over looked because they are in the same trough.

I am 64 and looking back at the last 30+ plus years of the political governance of this island I have reached the conclusion, that the Labour and Conservative parties have arrived at the stage where how they govern is of absolutely no moment to them. Now they have only one reason to exist and that is to get into power. Governing the country is a mere byproduct. They need to be swept away because as they have decayed so has the country. Whilst immigration and the EU are the two biggest problems, you can take them out of the equation and still, look where you may, you will see little evidence of good sound government. I joined because I think the BNP will give us the governance we need if we are to survive as a society worth living in.

One of life's lessons I have learnt over the years is never trust a man with a beard. I have not been far wrong by abiding to this rule. That is especially relevant to the bearded monsters of Islam. As regards Ukip. What sort of party is it that has only one policy. Get out of Europe which I applaud. But what else do they stand for. I suspect lining there own pockets, while they can. As there financial scandals are rife.

But with the swindle still fresh in our minds, which has turned some people's lives up side down, because the mp is meant to be above suspicion of any such dealings, ie we trust them. It is taking a leap of faith for some people to be able to trust Nick and Mr Brons.
For most they are saying time will tell. For myself I've only been a member about 2 months, and yes the hope that the bnp are the answer to our desperate plight is strong, but still man is just that, open to all kinds of temptations, but I do think that the two men know fully well that the nation's eyes are on them, and they also carry the tender,vulnerable hopes of all true blue English men and women. May God bless all their endevours.

Yes, I would imagine that there will be very close scrutiny of the BNP eump's expenses, they must be absolutely transparent in their claims, both to the country at large and it's membership.
Thank goodness justice has somehow prevailed, now as someone else has said, what about the rest of the traitors?

Forgive me for appearing somewhat confused here, but do I understand that the Judge in this case simply gave this man, posing as a trusted representative of the people, a prison sentence of two years, subject I assume to reductions for good behaviour, without him having to pay not only the stolen amount back, but also a good hefty fine? Surely this couldn’t have been the same Judge that was caught drunk on the motorway with his car full of vodka?

This means that with what would have been his exorbitant MEP annual salary, plus what would have been the acceptable level of expenses, which no doubt he was still allowed, his total annual income would have been in the order of over £100,000.00.

What on earth is wrong with this country that the people are not marching in their millions to show their anger at the blatant arrogance and criminality of those who purport to act in their best intentions on our behalf. What worries me even more, is that with the massaging of the people’s minds by the totally corrupt media, that come the general election next year, the voters will have completely forgotten all that which has already come to light. All that one can say is that anyone who does not vote for the British National Party next year, will have to live with a hell of a conscience for the next fifty years.
