Old Bunyan was incarcerated for 12 years for "preaching without a license." That's how the ungodly Church of England and the King treated Britain's puritanic sons in the 1600s.

And as old Knox said, "It is a thing most needful that the true Church be discerned from the filthy harlot." (Scottish Confession 1560, ch18). And just as the High Priest handed Jesus over to be crucified, even so, the Church of England is persecuting those who do not bow down to their graven image of pluralism. Let them do what they will. Those who know the Lord will go on from strength to strength.

is it any wonder the C of E is going down the plughole as my predessors have already said they have stood back and watched as muslim excavators crush christian gravestones, they have embraced sharia law and sell churches to be used as mosques, do i hear someone say jJudas here? The church of England needs a person at the helm not a crackpot like Rowan Williams who will unite christian values and turn back the tide of people leaving the church, the church used to be a family affair but who really want to be preached family values by a gay bishop? a sthey say the world is gone crazy, I'd rather see a church bulldozed than have it converted to an Islamic Mosque and im sure im not the only one, and any christian graves should be respected and treated just like a listed building forever sacred and to be left untouched as a "Final resting Place"

What has happened in the Anglican church has happened to Britain.
In the 1970's the Anglican church was noting that young people were not going to church any more (due to the evolution of Marxism in western Europe) so it decided to makes changes in order to attract the youth such as getting rid of the Book of Common Prayer, The King James Bible, moving the Alter forward and standing vs the humble position of kneeling. This was done by dirty corporate tactics; stacking the boards with "yes" voters, removing pews, making the sheep believe that all these changes came from the congregation when in fact it came from Archbishop/clergy. Meanwhile…
significant numbers of people who wanted the old service just LEFT THE CHURCH INSTEAD OF STAYING TO FIGHT…=…
white flight has left for Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA where they can now be 'immigrants only to find that because they are white they get politically pigeon holed with the rest of the whites of that country but at least they do not have the emotional attachment to the new country so the goings on do not hit quite so hard'

I don't know how many people are aware of the power and privilege these people enjoy, including Vicars, especially in small towns where a lot of life revolves around the church. If for some reason a person decides to leave a church they are often ostracized and everyone who they thought their 'friends' no longer associate with them. Rather like a cult. They also give a cloak of 'respectability' to many corrupt members of society. I have been waiting for someone to start investigating and exposing their expenses. It seems to be a very cushy number and totally unaccountable. If we were still an honest, law abiding society Islam wouldn't have a leg to stand on. Another question. Why should a politician, the Prime Minister appoint the Archbishop of Canterbury? Presumably the one masquerading as an 'Anglican' while all the time a 'Catholic'

By what right has any society, workplace, club, or church, got to enquire into anybody's political preference?
The whole idea of the ballot box, is to give everyone the right to vote IN PRIVATE. Nobody then has the right
to ask who someone supports. Support cannot be assumed, because of family ties, as many people know that families can argue over politics. And nobody should tell, unless they want to. There must be a phrase to use under these circumstances, such as "You are enfringing on my privacy" or "You are in breach of the data-protection act, by asking me this." Lynda.

Every word true Wolfshead, today what does the church stand firm on? They give in to every pathetic minority which then drives more of their congregations away. We need an Archbishop with a backbone not the limp articles at present in Canterbury and York.

Remember – Dr Williams went to Pakistan and said NOTHING about the persecution and murder of Christians in Pakistan.

I was always under the assumption that in a so called democratic society that on voting day you had the right to vote for any of the LEGAL and RECONIZED partys up for ellection,the bnp is both LEGAL and RECONIZED,so if this is the case how come some if not all cival servants can be blackmailed with ther job s or position of power,the next step with the church will be that if your british christian but a member or supporter of the bnp that you will not be welcome into the church,i wonder if however your donations would still be wlcome for the new church roof etc…….

As a free-thinking heretic or atheist, call me what you will, I ask myself, is it any wonder that millions of people across the globe are abandoning the established religious cults when one reads of the arrogant dictates of its privileged leaders of “Do what I say…. or else”

In Mr. North’s case this is no different whatsoever to the arrogant outpouring of a demented mullah. The message is the same “Do what I say…. or else”.

I believe that Mr. North, whether legally or otherwise, is fully entitled to a detailed explanation in plain English, devoid of any political claptrap, of the reason why the Diocese of Leicester regards the British National Party as being ‘incompatible with being a practicing Christian’ as no doubt the millions of people who do find that party entirely compatible with their beliefs, would also like to know.

I agree. We ARE predominantly Christian, but Christianity is certainly NOT a prerequisite for membership of the BNP. All good hearted people, with a genuine desire to expose and uphold the truth, are welcome to join us.
