Renewed Interest as BNP Grows in North Wiltshire

November 8, 2009 - By BNP News

corsham-meetingThe latest British National Party meeting in North Wiltshire recorded a record attendance driven primarily by the outrageous treatment of Nick Griffin on Question Time, reports South West regional organiser Mike Howson.

“The Chippenham and North Wiltshire constituency groups met in Corsham on Tuesday night last week,” said Mr Howson.

“Along with our regulars, we were joined by long-standing members who haven’t been to any meetings for a while and a number of new enquirers,” he said.

“To our surprise, guests at another function at the same venue asked to come in and find out more about us. The common denominator in this increased interest seems to be the Question Time factor and support for Mr Griffin.”

During the meeting a negative BBC documentary was shown along with an analysis of the types of lies and hate put out by that publicly-funded organisation against the BNP and anyone who does not want this country destroyed by Third World immigration.

“Members and supporters alike were made aware of the intense pressure that the party would be subjected to in the run-up to the election, and would now be more prepared for it,” Mr Howson added.

Another point of discussion was a frank and honest debate on the enforced changes to the party’s constitution.

“Finally we established leafleting teams and dates when we will take to the streets of Melksham and Chippenham to spread the party’s word,” he concluded.
