Remembering in Bury: An Old Soldier Still Fighting for the Same Cause
Bury BNP’s Remembrance Day commemorations were led once again this year by a World War II veteran, now in his mid-80’s, but still as sprightly as ever.
John headed a group of military veterans who laid BNP wreaths at the cenotaphs in Bury, Radcliffe, Tottington and Whitefield, in memory of all those who have given their lives for their country, in conflicts past and present.
John himself served with distinction in the Parachute Regiment and the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers and helped to defend the country he loves from invasion, subjugation and genocide.
John told sympathisers, who gathered to watch the ceremonies, that he regards his present-day involvement with the British National Party as a direct continuation, by different means, of the very same cause that he, and his fallen comrades, fought for so courageously all those years ago.
