Oxfordshire British National Party Starts Early for 2010 Elections
The British National Party is now active right across Britain and is actively preparing for the 2010 elections, as the newest leafleting group in Oxfordshire has shown.
Under new organiser John Bews and his assistant, Adam Worley, the group has already concluded the successful leafleting of every home in Berinsfield, Wallingford, reports Mr Bews.
“The whole village was completed in about eight hours of work by the BNP team, which included two life members,” Mr Bews said.
“The local people gave us a warm welcome, showing that there was great support for Mr Nick Griffin after the disgraceful treatment he was given on Question Time.
“More than one resident also expressed their disgust at the Government bringing in a law dictating who could or could not be a member,” he continued. “One resident was happy to have his photo taken receiving his leaflet and several members of the public asked for extra leaflets.”
Mr Bews said further activities across Oxfordshire were being planned as increasing numbers of activists turned out to help.
