North East Essex BNP Raises £100 for Poppy Day with Table Top

The North East Essex British National Party group raised more than £100 for the British Legion during a morning table top outreach in Clacton-On-Sea last weekend, reports Keith Beaumont, Essex sub regional organiser.
“Jim Taylor, N.E. Essex 0rganiser and Christine Mitchell, Mid Essex organiser, accompanied by several dedicated activists, took to the streets in the town centre, unperturbed by intermittent rain,” Mr Beaumont said.
“They were happy to discuss the issues of the day with passersby, shoppers and tourists alike.
“Topics covered included immigration, the EU, and the appalling treatment which Mr Nick Griffin was given at the hands of the BBC,” he continued.
“Donations were non-stop throughout the day for both the poppy tin and the party. We sold dozens of copies of the Voice of Freedom newspaper and large numbers of leaflets were snapped up by the eager public,” Mr Beaumont said.
