I really think I ought to bring attention to the Americanisation of words in this text. In promoting a British culture I really think the author of this article should pay due attention to words such as "Recognise" instead of "Recognize".

Apart from that nitpick, great article, we should be doing more to promote the reading of such articles nationwide.

So2speak, there has been a new section created for the ybnp, if you click on 'YBNP News' at the top of the page it should take you to it. This is an article for the YBNP, and there is another one written by another writer about Dundee Christmas Festival having its name changed.

Me again! Further to my last comment to the site admins, regarding how not all articles are appearing on the main BNP page. I've just noticed in the box on the right-hand-side of this page, the BNP Twitter (join the conversation) box, that some of the topics mentioned in that box aren't coming up under National News or Regional news. Is that deliberate or accidental?

Slightly off-topic site-admin, but the reason there's only 3 comments thus far on this article is that this article isn't featured on the main BNP page (along with another article).
This article only came up when I clicked on the "climate change" article, and instead it then said I was browsing through November's archive (or something similar).
I've since clicked again on the "climate change" article, but didn't get to see this article again. So I went into intense debate, and as my comment had just been cleared by the moderators, clicked on my comment to be directed back to this article. I hope this feedback is helpful.

The Common Fisheries Policy has brought many British fishing communities to their knees. We've been forced to open up our waters to the entire fishing fleet of the EU, depleting our fish stocks, and devaluing the catch.
The many hardworking fishing communities of Britain need to have their eyes opened to the protectionist policies that the BNP has to offer. The BNP will not only save what's left of our fishing industry, but will allow it to flourish again, and breathe life back into the the fishing communities and it's many dependent industries.

The common fisheries policy has been a disaster from the very beginning. In fact the whole of the English fishing industry was sold down the river to buy our way into the common market back in July of 1970. The failure of the EU is best displayed by the state of our commercial fishing industry. I can tell you first hand the hatred that existed for the French & Spanish fleets. We had to stand by & watch while the French Klondiked on fish we were band from landing. Most Spanish boats were registered on the British registry & fished off our quota. I would suggest that any BNP branch that has fishing communities in their district should use this very argument (to get out of the EU & take our traditional waters back for the English fishing industry) to win hearts & minds. I think that they would find a very enthusiastic audience as no other party has gone into bat for the fishing industry in nearly 40 years.

At one time we had gunboats out during the Icelandic Codwars, now we have political spratts wearing codpieces to make up for their treacherous anglers tales. Snide sharks the lot of them not far off the eventual net to land them all in the dark hold, only this time, no selection of type, they are all the same, slimy traitors.
