Libyan leader Gaddafi Admits: “Political Asylum” is a “Hilarious Trick and Lie”
Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi has admitted in public that the “political asylum” ruse used by Third World invaders to enter Europe is a “hilarious trick and lie” and that there is no justification for it.
Mr Gadaffi’s comments were made during a press conference with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi in June this year during a formal visit to Rome. Although captured on film, the Libyan leader’s comments were deliberately cut out of British TV broadcasts of the conference. The censored comments have now finally appeared on YouTube.
In the censored clip, Mr Gaddaffi says: “As for political asylum, Africans have no problem with politics. That is one of the tricks and lies you hear.
“They say ‘We’re here for political asylum.’ Africans don’t have this problem.
“These are people who live in the jungle, in the desert. They know nothing about parties, elections or opposition.
“Political asylum? How many have political asylum? Millions?
“Millions pour into Europe. Do they all want political asylum? It’s hilarious.”
Mr Gadaffi was in Rome to sign a treaty with the Italian government in terms of which Italy agreed to provide billions of dollars of aid to Libya. In return, Libya undertook to crack down on the thousands of Africans who set sail from Libya each year to invade Europe. Most land on the Italian shoreline and on the island of Lampedusa in particular.
Libya has also agreed to take back those invaders stopped in international waters by the Italian navy. This has led to a sharp decline in the number of Africans landing in Italy over the past few months.
