Although I personally think that Catholic countries 'Over-Do' the deplaying of crucifixes and religious symbolism, it should not be for any 'think tank' or other body of advisors to make decisions on that countries behalf and then impose those decision through EU legislation. If the vast majority of people within that country are happy with such symolism, then it should not be any business of anyone else to have those symbols removed. Why stir up a problem which didn't exist? The answer has to be that there are forces at work wihin the EU who just want to undermine individual countries traditions and beliefs to create the standardized Federal Europe.

My older son now lives in Australia and will not return, my younger son who lives here was driving through leytonstone, stopped in traffic three foreign gentlemen tried to force there way in to his car, but thankgoodness he had locked all the doors, they just ran away.

Im stunned that the vatican hasnt come out and told the EU to 'go forth and multiply' over this! Geez it makes me mad to read this crap, here in Australia an 11yr old schoolboy was bashed bu a bunch of muslim kids because he was eating a salami sandwich during ramadan? Can you believe that?!?! Is he muslim?? NO! So what do they care what he eats its a public school ffs! It was front page news at least! We all need to be more aware of whats happening so we can stop it, and our leftist PM Rudd has just laid out the welcome mat to a tidal wave of boat people! We need the BNP here!

I born in Malaysia but my gdgrandparents were from China, just because we born there so we have to tolerate some rules, law in M'sia such as no kissing in public, pork selling in Market has to be covered up with 4 walls, Religions Icon not allowed to build taller than the Mosque.

Now, I married and living in UK, part of Europe and I keep hearing all silly issues about Muslim, it's really made me mad and angry, until when all these well STOP, and let we have a peace of mind and freedom.

All I can say was to the Muslim community, if you can't adapt to the Western Culture, please please go back to your origin country!!!

OFFICIAL: Madrassa teachers are – and always have been – exempt from the CRB requirement. Yes, even though YOU may be a truck-driver making a single delivery to a school once per month, or a salesman visiting schools strictly by appointment-only, YOU must be in possession of a CRB certificate. But if you're a full-time madrassa teacher in charge of dozens of children….YOU DON'T NEED ONE! I'll repeat that….YOU DON'T NEED ONE!!! And to put it another way: If you teach in a mainstream school, you need a CRB certificate. If you teach in a muslim school – you DON'T!! Why isn't this headline news? This, surely, is an issue that needs addressing in a 'party political' as soon as possible.

You'd think such a ruling, if it were ever to happen in Britain, would suggest ALL Muslim schools would have to close as they most certainly “violate a child’s right to freedom of religion” with their indoctrination, provocative books, and teaching – not to mention suppression of the English language and culture. That thought though would probably remain just that as we all know the real intention and implication of this dictate.

As individuals we can do our bit.

Get yourself a crucifix and wear it openly. Wear a lapel badge. Get a tattoo.

Make them attractive and obvious – not cheap bling.

Have something hanging from your car mirror or a sticker. Put something on your desk at work. Get a holy screen saver

Make a point of observing Christian holy days. Don't work Sunday or Christmas. insist on eating fish on Friday – your canteen should oblige. Insist upon all food being displayed as not halal – because it is "offensive" for a Christian to eat food that has been subjected to a heathen ritual.

I have done this for 8 years now. When I go to a conference and fill in the form for dietary requirements I say meat but not ritually slaughtered. If Friday – fish.

i wear an open necked shirt and openly display a crucifix.

The hard looks of hatred I get from certain "people" makes it all worth while because they cant stop me. Seeing PC "goffers" running around to meet my dietary needs is funny as well.

Refusing to go on office events on Sundays or insisting on the morning being freed for church gets right up their noses.

Play the muslims at their own game.

One conference weekend in Winchester I even absented myself from an evening "workgroup" to attend Choral Evensong at the Catherdral. My PC charity sector employers were spitting feathers but had to let me go as I implied that to stop me would be disrespectful to my religion. I had after all given up my weekend.

If they ever get shirty I just say "are you discriminating against me for my religion". As they bend over backwards to take it from muslim employees they have to back down.

After a while they back down and accommodate you . They have to and it becomes second nature for them to uncomplainingly bow to your wishes.

Like Dhimmis in fact.

In Scotland new schools could not be commissioned that stated their Faith. Reason stated to cut out the inter religious rivally between Protestant & Catholics. That had always been a bone of contention between Celtic & Rangers football teams.

Now it makes a different kind of sense. This is not somethion g that has just happened. After all Chess was 1st started as a game of conquest in Iran so with the oil wealth due to end within next 20= YEARS the process needs to be finalised now or never.

Interesting, according to this post the complaint was made by a Muslim, as suspected by others. This is a major problem these days, you say 'Finnish' and you immediately think Caucasian. We all have a perceived idea which brings an image to our mind, so say 'Chinese' ,'Japanese', 'Indian' you are not going to picture a white Caucasian, but as soon as we touch Europe anyone can be French, Dutch, Portuguese, etc. etc.

I always thought the French were nationalistic, if France told the EU to get stuffed the whole of Europe would follow – if we told them to get stuffed I doubt if the other European states would do much as they know, and we know we are not part of Europe really – France is. Either way the political elite in European countries seem to have done a secret deal with the Muslim countries to become subservient in exchange for oil. I can't think of any logical reason why Europe should chuck it's hand in and give up, somebody's agreed something somewhere – question is who??

This is happening because the Muslims want our country – end of story. Why live in some flea infested, disease ridden backward cess pit when you can come to Britain's green and pleasant land stuffed full of soft mugs who'll let you have their country without any problems, because they have been brainwashed by their political masters that "resistance is futile" and we must be "tolerant" and welcome all comers – easy really.
