Cornwall Member Wins Award for Best Local Leaflet

Cornwall British National Party activist Peter Higgs won a local party contest for producing the best recruiting leaflet with a Cornish theme, organiser Sue Bowen reports.
“The award, a delightful pewter figure of Merlin, who by legend is associated with Cornwall, was given to Mr Higgs at the latest group meeting,” Ms Bowen said.
“The recruiting leaflet has gone down a storm in the area, and the increased attendance the meeting was one indicator of its success,” Ms Bowen continued.
“If growth continues at this rate, we will soon have to look to acquire larger premises for our meetings.”
The meeting was also provided with a report on the recent local Trafalgar Day dinner and the laying of a BNP wreath at the Truro Cenotaph by Gwen Jenkins.
Ms Jenkins also gave a powerpoint presentation on the threats facing Britain today which was very well received by the attendees, Ms Bowen concluded.
