It would be like me being given a job as top Brain Surgeon in the country – with no training, experience or knowledge – but being allowed to perform the job on hapless victims who are given no say in the person who will operate on them.

Of course, the appointing of such a woman as Ms Ashton to the position of EU Foreign Affairs Minister tells us one thing. She is not expected to be anything other than a figurehead – a puppet who will do exactly what she is told to do by the real rulers of Europe.

Perhaps this will make the people of Europe realise that the EU is run by an unelected political Elite, for the benefit of themselves – the only involvement that the stupid mugs called the people of Europe have is paying all the bills. Is anyone really amazed at why all the politicians from the mainstream Parties are so fervent about this country's continued membership of the EU? They hope that if they too can appear to be 'in the program' or 'on side', they might be lucky enough to hit the jackpot too – and have a life on the EU Gravy Train. That is the only reason you will not hear Labour, Conservative or Lib Dem MPs speaking one word against the EU monstrosity.

And while we are talking about elections and the EU – strange how those 2 words just don't seem to go well together – why is that the EU, sometimes referred to as the United States of Europe, can manage to 'appoint' a 'President' of Europe without one single European citizen being given the chance to vote (apart from the shadowy elite who run the whole show for their benefit), while the United States of America only appoints a President after he has faced and won an Election involving the entire US electorate? Compared to the example set by the USA, one might suggest that the EU is nothing more than a dictatorship.
