Brierley Hill: Candidates in Every Ward Is Team Black Country’s Aim

It is the aim of Team Black Country British National Party to have candidates in every ward of Brierley Hill at the next election, Councillor Russ Green said.
Speaking to Black Country BNP correspondent John Salvage after yet another successful table top event in the town, Cllr Green said only the BNP could “save Brierley Hill from the devastation of New Labour.”
Organiser Terry Lewin added that the effects of the de-industrialisation of the Black Country by successive Tory and Labour governments could be seen on the streets.
“Nearly every town in the Black Country has fallen into despair. Brierley Hill had glass makers, steel, and countless pubs, but it looks as though it’s all going the way of many others. We need people to get out and vote en masse,” Mr Lewin said.
The table top outreach took place in typically windy autumn weather, but that did not deter the hard-working team of activists. Once again, hundreds of leaflets were handed out and many “regulars,” now used to the sight of a BNP stall in the town, came up to discuss the issues of the day.
Finally, after yet another successful “Table Top Democracy” session complete, the wind-bashed team retired to a favourite local venue for refreshments, and a briefing on the next planned activity.
