In Nuneaton and Bedworth, the service was even more poignant because the area had just lost two of its best in Afghanistan. Another two soldiers from Coventry had also recently fallen. Nuneaton and Bedworth Councillor Martyn Findley laid a wreath on behalf of the local BNP branch while West Midlands organiser Alwyn Deacon was also present on the parade with the TA helping to provide the military music (above).
