The Sun has changed from labour to con, Perhaps the Star or the Sport might be interested if we had more support, although i think the Star is linked to the Mail, What ever is said to any tabloid should be recorded, if we are to be a contender for Goverment we have either to print and sell our own newspaper, or get backing off a tabloid..

Thanks OD, I read in an earlier comment that you spent some time in Africa. Me too, 25 happy years in a career which encompassed the end of empire and birth of independent African nationalist states. Could bore you to death with tales of my experiences, but suffice to say I found the key to successful survival in the colonies or newly independent territories of the Dark Continent called for respect for local people and their customs, an ability to adapt to change without compromising one's own principles and a realistic understanding of the cultural and genetic differences which make up the nature of African society. A wry sense of humour was also essential. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and miss it enormously!

To gain voting status you have to be a member for two years and be active. Joining en masse and waiting for the big day in which you and your fellow unwashed UAF scum vote to bring down the leadership just won't happen – it's against the rules. Even if they managed to keep their noses clean for two years that's still two long years of walking the streets leafleting, attending Summer School, attending meetings, manning stalls etc. And in those two long years, how many sleepers are going to go native once they discover the perception of the BNP as dictated by Searchlight is a false image. How many BNP friends are they going to make in two years?

It's a non-starter.

The answers are quite easy. In fact the laws to combat extremism and hate are already in place, just never used. The laws against halal killing are already there under the animal welfare laws. A mosque could be shut down for preaching anti-Semitism. Illegal immigrants can easily be deported (what part of "illegal" don't they understand?). Asylum seekers from Africa? Oh come on! Plenty of safety all around them. The infrastructure is already there, but only used against the indigenous people.

I was a member of the BNP until serious illness with two members of my close family (son and husband) meant our finances took a huge nosedive and we struggled to survive – while all the asylum seekers got money hand over fist, we got nothing despite working hard all our lives and paying our way (thousands others like us too). We're only beginning to recover financially now some 6 years later.

However, I signed up for the newsletters ages ago, never miss an opportunity to vote BNP, keep spreading the word and donated a couple of weeks ago.

Mackem, the BNP has been demonised by the media for years (under NUJ rules journalists are REQUIRED to manipulate the truth about the Party) and it is therefore little wonder that people have preconceived ideas of what it is all about. We are routinely called fascists, but if you look up the definition of this you will find there is nothing in the BNP's agenda to support this accusation. We are also regularly accused of racism, although there is no foundation to this charge as racism is defined as 'belief in racial superiority', which forms no part of BNP policy.

The constitutional changes currently taking place reinforce these points, without compromising our fundamental belief in and support for the British people, our way of life and traditions. The changes should provide a far better understanding of what we stand for and encourage people to look beyond the media smears and investigate our strong and workable policies on many other issues that concern us all. The leadership and conference have accepted the need for these changes, which will hopefully be endorsed by the membership early next year. You can see from the comments posted here that most members view these developments in a positive light.

I hope this encourages you and many thousands of other 'borderliners' to support and perhaps join this great Party, which offers the only hope for the future of our country. With BNP Members of Parliament, we will be able to exercise a real influence on British politics.

Has anyone else noticed how good Nick is at actually answering questions, When do we ever hear any other politician giving a straight answer – never. Something else, when people tell the truth they don't make mistakes – it is only liars that get caught out. Nick won't because he always tells the truth.

I`m a newbie to this site & only recently started taking an interest to see what all the fuss was about. I must admit to agreeing with much that was said.
Let`s face it the wishy washy lib dems have never really offered serious opposition to labour & the tories taking turns at government.
To be brutally frank though, I did wonder whether BNP was attempting to gain credulity and respectability as part of a violent organisation (as per Sinn Fein & the IRA). There is a violent racist stigma to BNP. Justified or not, true or not, like it or not it`s there & many people cannot & will not relate for that reason.
It seems to me that here is a huge opportunity to open the doors to support from all quarters if it`s done properly.
I, (and I suspect many thousands of `borderline` people) are awaiting the next instalment.

So at last we cannot be called a racist party so no members job can be threatened ever again so I can once more rejoin as soon as membership is opened [was a member about 8 years ago]
Next hopefully a mention on Council tax, hopefully 50% reduction= many more votes?
