Apprenticeships should be open to all youngsters irrespective of whether or not they have the present day requisite of 3-5 GSCE passes. When I was an apprentice it wasn't required, just a willingness to learn outside of a school environment.

There must be millions of youngsters today who have been turned off by school, but would make terrific tradespeople with guidance from a qualified mentor. Let them get their hands on the tools, academic qualification can come in time, as they progress!

The BNP policy for apprentices should be the same as it was over 40 years ago, when the system turned out the best tradespeople in the world, and British manufacturing was the best in the world.

Can SOMEONE do a couple of interviews with Mr Baillie – perhaps one on local issues, another on wider national issues – and put them on Youtube? It's not that hard! the media will never give him airtime. All it needs is a list of questions, someone who can talk, a camcorder, moviemaker or similar editing software, and a Youtube account! PLEASE!!!!!!

Yesterday, my grandson and I were just coming out of the bank on Alexandra Parade when we were approached by a really friendly chap who I immediately recognised, it was Charlie Bailie out canvassing in Townhead for the upcoming elections here in Glasgow. As I explained, I cannot vote because I live in another area but my daughter and her husband do and I know that they have every intention of voting for Charlie Baillie and the BNP, as will many others I'm sure.

Good luck Charlie Baillie in the by-election wouldn't it be just great if you won? On BBC news tonight they only mentioned Brown's visit to Glasgow, and the conservatives and liberals. It would shock them to the core if the BNP won! I just hope the common sense policies of the BNP is getting through to people. Anyone voting for labour should hang their heads in shame!!!!

i was thinking since the odds on a bnp win in glasgow north east is 500 to 1 what would stop some one placing a ten pound bet on say through face book advising about seven thousand friends to place a tenner and cast their votes .surely it would not be illegal to make a few bob before christmas thou it will not be as much as mps expenses .give the mainstream parties a good kicking and exercise you democratic rights

i was viewing the scottish sun newspaper on line [i did wash my hands after] as they like to call it after the usual anti bnp rants i came across the story about the non nationals who stole the poppy day appeal jar which contained about a hundred pounds from a service station in ibrox glasgow it makes you wonder why this was not put on the main news along with the pictures to catch these vile criminals.

The SNP is a party portrayed as nationalist but has been entered by Europhiles and Unionists who have it now as a social democrat party committed to foreign government from Brussels and Strasbourg. Typical of what are liberal policies their Kenny MacAskil has just let a murderer of 270 people get away with it, and has just paid a visit to the Central Mosque where he may yet take instruction in that fascist publication the Koran prior to conversion. It seems to me that a Scotland for the Scots is gone as an aspiration and that I will instead have to settle for a Britain for the British on the basis of any port in a storm and the fact that the BNP is alone in being committed to alternatives to those policies that have failed and particularly in the case of law and order.
I wonder sometimes whatever happened to the 100,000 plus nationalists and former members of a party become all things to all people except the people it was created to represent.
This BNP reminds of the heady days of the 1970s when as seperatists and tartan tories we began to set the cat among the pigeons of the liberal establishment

I think that one possible way of raising people out of poverty might be for the government to boost full-time low pay with a form of benefit – though far less than full rate Job Seeker's Allowance and it would also save much by no longer needing to pay out Housing Benefit.. Thus reducing public expenditure and reducing poverty.

I believe we want NO politically correct teaching methods, not less and an official change of the phrase 'politically correct', to 'politically corrupt'. This abusive phrase itself has a psychologically corrupting influence on the mind, as it implies that something is right and when used repetitively, it eventually cows people into acquiescent submissiveness.

PC talk, methods and goals all aim to achieve totalitarianism and the people who endorse, sanction and apply the PC disease are violent lunatics anyway. These people should be jailed for misanthropic crimes against children.

Political corruption is the diametrical opposite of common sense.
