Being an expat,I see the danger very much here in Switzerland, the opposition is telling us that a NO will bring Switzerland in a bad light , therefore the soft governing body know as the Bundesrat is crying it eyes out.
Although not in the EU the Swiss Government does everything the Eu tells it to do…..
I fear this will be another victory for those murderers and terrorist , what has happened to the once upon a time proud Europe I grew up in ??

Switzerland had the most conservative population in Europe. Real power resided in local districts which determined who should come to live in them, and how they behaved. I recall a newcomer had to live there about 20 years before being naturalised, and it depended on his neighbours as to whether he was. It seemed restrictive compared with the British idea but it made Switzerland a highly stable country the envy of the civilised world and a formidable financial centre. Even Adolf Schikelgruber, aka Hitler, had the sense to keep his hands off it.

See what the venomous touch of the EU has done. It seems uncharacteristic that the Swiss should co-operate other than from some Germanic ethos. They must surely see that the EU began as a 'Common Market' deception, to grow by yearly lies and corruption into a monster which now swallows nations whole, together with their sovereignty and basic freedoms.

“Minarets are our bayonets. The domes are our helmets, the mosques our barracks and the believers our army.”'
Maybe so Turk, and I know what you mean in your Islamic arrogance, but everything in the natural world is a function of quality. We in Britain own no Islamic minarets, domes or mosques, and the ones imposed upon us by an evil, usurping Government WILL be taken down, and our peoples' armies will prevail, as they have before, against any misbegotten thing you can produce.'

I first went to Switzerland over thirty years ago and the phrase " it was so clean you could eat off the pavements" was almost literally true. I have been many times since and, sadly, as the levels of "enrichment" have risen so have the levels of litter and graffiti although it is still cleaner than most other countries in Europe.
The Swiss have a marvellous opportunity here. If they ban the building of minarets on Nov.29th. they will be taking a lead in the fightback against the Islamification of Europe and I am sure the growing numbers of indigenous Europeans who are sick of the way their own countries are being transformed against their wishes will be taking their holidays in Switzerland.
The Swiss along with Norway enjoy the highest living standards in Europe. Neither are members of the EU ( no coincidence) and so should take no lectures from the corrupt Marxists who run that deeply flawed organisation. I am sure they have only taken in so many "enrichers" to show solidarity with other fellow Europeans. Well all that has to stop. The Swiss must follow the SVP on Nov.29th.

Like politicians, journalists should be required to reveal their "incentives." I don't oppose creature comforts as long as they do not compromise. Good will is one thing, compromise another. For example, "feeding" the press as they go from one story, conference, photo-op to another, under the onerous shadow of deadlines and hangovers, is courteous. Blatant bribes are not. On the other end, threats from the Palace to withhold information is also unacceptable in a democracy.

They are quite right of course, minarets ARE a massive statement of intent and should be opposed. New ones should not be granted planning permission (not that muslim worry about that!) and the ones already erected should be demolished.

I hope the Swiss do ban minarets as it would set a great precedent for us! Even better if they were to ban Mosques! Also this quote from the Turkish Prime Minister is a very revealing nugget of gold for us in our fight to keep Turkey out of the EU.
