it seems like an attempt to ridicule democracy and make the usurping of powers to europe easy by undermining parliament .if they we put to the cromwell test like charles the first [charles was beheaded][ they would have been hanged for treason and for consorting with a foreign power .eu.also there is something similiar happening in ireland. the speaker has resign due to his expenses. the banks pump a lot of money in to circulation and when every one is hooked on borrowing . pump money out of circulation and cause a recession and when the countries throw the family silver in to the ring they renegoitate the debt use it to control countries politically and assume countries no longer have a get out of recession card as they have used their reserve.uk had just paid off its war debt from world war two to the americans and now we are hocked to debt . that is not a co incidence .it is planned .

Hi Howser. It is that that frightens them so much. They are not worried that we might harm this island and it's people, they know we won't. But the thought that one day they might have to account for their actions is too awful for them to contemplate. Why? Not because we are vindictive but because they know they won't be able to hide the damage they have done. Ultimately it will not be the BNP who judges them but the people as a whole.

Hi Goodsense,
I totally agree. Whilst it would make good viewing, It would in no way redeem them for their actions or repair the damage they have done. I hope one day we shall see them before the peoples jury
at a 21st century Nuremburg trials. Mr Blair first, or do we make him sweat?

The amounts quoted are peanuts, of course (maybe excpeting the £100K house fraud). I suppose it's a rather clumsy pretence that justice is being done. With careful avoidance of serious issues.

William - I infer (though I may be wrong) that you're not young. I hope you keep your evidence of this sort of thing (preferably with proper proof) as it may be needed when (or if) the media are prodded into telling the truth occasionally.

Hi wiin,
I guess that either leaves me paranoid or with more questions than answers.
I can't help but see the musicians on the deck of the Titanic debating what to play next.
What difference does it make, the ship is sinking, and when I see big gun MP's saying they are paying back 1000, 2000, 3000 pounds, I can't help but think, so what, this country is sinking!
They have to be held to account for that as an act of treason, for the theft of our country and her assets rather than a few thousand, in comparison, pounds. Whichever, I agree with you, It's gonna end in tears, but not for us!

I don't think they are that good. Politics has tended to attract the self interested, the self important, and the self righteous - and it was bound to end in tears, for both the politicians and for those that vote for them.
The simple answer is No, the tories are no longer fit to govern.

Of all of the reports, only Jacqui Smith has been adjudged as actually defrauding the public. All the rest made 'honest mistakes' That being so, why has she not had the whip withdrawn? Then again, as far as the honest mistakes goes, There are too many to be 'honest' and while there may not be any proof three facets of it seem to be conclusive. Of all 645 expense lists only Bliars was accidentally shredded. This in itself is very suggestive. No one will ever know how much he got away with.

Then we have Gordon th eunelected claiming on national TV that he had no idea that such things were going on, yet he was a part of it himself, owing more than £12,000, more than some people earn.

Finally we have the almost inevitable fact that of all the expense claims, noy one 'under' claimed. All claimed more than they were entitled to. That the speaker at the time, Martin, did his level best to see that we did not learn of any of this, and has now been made a peer of the realm, just like Mandelson, shows how far we have sunk.
