Team Black Country Campaigns in Princes End

After a highly successful tour of surrounding areas over the past few weeks, Team Black Country British National Party yesterday ended up full circle as the outreach programme reached “home turf”, reports correspondent John Salvage.
The ‘table top democracy’ stall, manned by the usual team who included Princes End Councillor Russ Green, were soon greeted by car horns tooting and a flood of local people stopping to chat.
“One of the main concerns people spoke about was the potential of the old British Legion being turned into a foreign place of worship,” Mr Salvage said.
“The busy high street has seen pub after pub close, and the surrounding area has also lost much of its industry,” Mr Salvage continued.
“That has not stopped the local council knocking down traditional houses and building ‘affordable housing’ in its place. This is then given to the hundreds of imported immigrant families,” he said, adding that this was also mentioned several times by passers-by.
