They have bills to pay and often family responsibilities etc and I have some sympathy. Many may not like what is happening around them but it isn't always that easy to find another job. I do not like it but understand their dilemma. What I do not understand are those who almost gleefully go out of their way to help immigrants. Little do they realise that in a short time those immigrants will have their jobs, and they will be very low down on the new order of priorities. We now live in Thurrock and what a pleasure compared to Waltham Forest, we can go to our local Doctors surgery and not feel you are in anouther country, it is so lovley to hear all the elderly residents chatting to each other, im sure they have been freinds for years you feel they have a real sence of identity. My daughter was the last of our family to visit Southend this Summer and told me of its decline since we were down there as a family in 2007, alas she knew she wouldnt be back there as she has left for New Zealand! Essex residents take head. It seemed that most of those on the crowded beach were Eastern Europeans. Some of the kiosks were staffed by them too. I guess Southend is paradise compared to Gdansk. Was out leafletting in Manchester yesterday, no problems encoutered. A mad did open his door as I was opening his letterbox. When he saw the leaflet he said it was the best news he has had in months.
