What a wonderful opportunity for the B.N.P.to come higher in the polls now that Cameron has nailed his frightened colours to the mast.(i.e.) 1.scared to face a referendum on Europe & 2. Bring our lads home from the "Snake pits of Afghanistan". I feel the WHOLE nation would vote for these 2 issues alone. Go For It Nick the Party.

It does take my money to stop the so called climate change….
Stop china/japan/etc industries churning out pollution day in day out, stop planes flying, America and British governments should admit the destruction was caused by nuclear testing and use of said weapons (something other countries in this 'EQUALITY' world are not able to try! etc, etc Finally the stop the use of uness journys like that mentioned motorcade…. stealing money from my pocket won't save F%^& All!

Watching Blair he strikes me as a man who deep down knows he has no substance. The constant pursuit of money, power and titles betokens more than simple greed. He must continually bolster himself with these outward trappings in a vain attempt to prove, more to himself than others, that he is a good man, a worthy man, a man deserving of reward.. I have none of his power or wealth but am at ease with myself. Whilst I like good things and praise they are not essential for me to feel I have worth as a human being. To him they are. This is not a plea for sympathy for him, very much the opposite. History is littered with such individuals and always they leave the same legacy. Damage, destruction, despair. He is a psychological type and far more dangerous than most of us can imagine. It isn’t just the ranters and ravers, the lovers of fancy uniforms that have madness in their souls. Are there any psychologists or psychoanalysists within our ranks?__

He was a slimy toad as PM, god knows what being President would do for his head.

It would seem that traitor Blair is no longer in the running.
Where will his next million pounds come from?

I guess his wife will have to fleece the British tax payer out of even more money by defending a few more scrounging parasites at deportation hearings. The Blairs have nothing but contempt for the true population of Britain. They have both become rich from our taxes but stab us in the back whenever possible.

Agreed, on the surface,whilst on question time he did seem " odd ". But I was left with a seed implanted in the back of my mind. Events and revelations of the last few days made me for some reason look into Mr Starkey using the web, low and behold this article turned up first click from Google.
Now maybe I am reading these words " one eyed " as it were, but has Starky a subtle message on a more subliminal level? Is he telling the English to be proud and more celebratory like our Scotch,Welsh,Irish N & S cousins ? Is this National pride a bad thing ? (To a " social engineer " it is disastrous ).
For me this is work in progress much of my previous thinking has to be revisited taking into account the " lifting of my blinkers" .Perhaps someone can expand on this I am I admit suffering from information overload!
I am at this time moving house and look like being off-line my thread on this has led me to look into the home international football tournament and it`s demise ( I am not an aficionado so input would be welcome). I have to go but please give this some consideration I may be turning into a raving conspiracy theorist. no time to read and check sorry in advance

Hmmm..that is quite a cogent analysis of the evolution of multiculturalism in this country, even if David Starkey is a bit of a fruitcake overall. I also think he should have been more specific about this notion of French 'identity', for the majority of ordinary Frenchmen attribute their identity more to Republican values rather than ethnicity (as is the case with the British!) It is certainly ironic, however, that a country with an abstract, liberal-based constitution, should have a more negative record of sustaining current racial diversity, than a highly conservative-oriented country where the Head of State is a monarch, with an established Church! But Starkey's description of the effects of the Acts of Union on these islands certainly helps explain that irony! Nice post!
