More than 2,000 British National Party leaflets were distributed in a special morning of action in Gillingham, Kent, reports Medway organiser Brian Ravenscroft.
“We targeted one of the largest wards in the town with a team of leafleters who responded to a call for action,” Mr Ravenscroft said.
“I asked for some help to get things moving in Gillingham, but never imagined we would have such terrific support.
“We distributed about 2,000 leaflets in about three hours. We had the most marvellous reaction from residents and it was a fantastic day’s work.
“I would recommend that all our members do this sort of activism. It helps keep one fit and it is always uplifting to see how support for the party continues to grow,” Mr Ravenscroft said.
