As horrendous as this is, may I ask why no local people attend planning meetings of their council, or better still scan for upcoming meeting to be able to put in formal objections. Organise a large attendance too. One has to get with the system to fight the system. Understand your enemy.

On and off for over 25 years I've been researching my family tree. One branch I've managed to trace back to 1750. I managed even to find the headstones of my great great great grandparents graves. I would be furious if I found foreigners or indeed anyone had bulldozed them. Where was the media? Or the Church of England complaining about this desecration? The problem is, as English people have moved out of certain areas and are now filled with foreigners this will happen more and more. It's such a horrible thought, and is one of the reason I'm now going to vote for the BNP.

Please send an email to Manchester City Council's Planning Chief – there is a temporary stop on what is going on re. gravestones due to possible breach of planning laws by the Moslems. The whole matter is being investigated because of the fuss we have all kicked up.

Curious. Did any news agency in Britain cover this or is this another story buried in the interest of community cohesion. Did not garner a mention in Canada, other than utube. If the story did make the news, a link would be great.

The reason being is that I believe this man who abodes in Canterbury, is a complete disaster, he needs locking up, he spends most of his time preaching hate and spite against the good and decent people of the BNP, this was evident during the run up to the recent Euro elections. What ?unemployment situation is now 2-7 mil or so. great.now how many of these are people are from other countries well tell me.
So if only 300 people walk onto heath row airport , in one day for example and given time that 300 people apply for dole. Thats means 300 extra on the dole good thinking. So thats 300 people extra. Is there profit being made from these 300 people, i would say so. Now your thinking that some high end muslim has a empthy hotel somewhere and knows of a MP from Manchester, he might well, or the hotel owner is white, if white he`s thinking of profit, he`s thinking about his earnings, he might have a house in spain and large boat to keep the poor man. Such people are out there.
Gordon Brown can`t go out and say that these muslims have to go, it might cause some factory in Birmingham to close, where they export some sort of product to a muslim country, it might upset them and cancel the order.
We can complain all we like, but unless action is taken then this will end up as a talking shop. The BMP need a voice with teeth. Manchester a fine City, but save that grave yard and get ride of them signs around the city saying this is a necular free city, that is a muslim keeping us down.

imnokuffa, I believe the public in general, are beginning to realize who the real thugs and trouble makers are, they have seen with their own eyes which organizations have been taking part in the recent demonstrations and who has caused the troubles. These members of the public must be baffled by the fact, that the BNP are always being mentioned by the media whenever these demonstations and riots are taking place, when they have never actually seen any one from the BNP taking part in them. I do agree with you regarding that certain people are using every trick in the book to provoke the BNP and you are right, we must all back Nick to the hilt and stay cool, calm, and collective.This will upset these people that are trying to provoke us even more.

Our councils are an utter disgrace, and are insufficiently accountable. Elected members (councillors) are often ego-trippers who won't hold council officers to account or make any fuss (sometimes in order to further their own council "cabinet" careers and the pay now accompanying with such posts, which was not formerly the case). Salaried council officers rarely SERVE THEIR PUBLIC PAYMASTERS in polite efficiency, and some are openly contemptuous of taxpayers, and patronizing.
In the case above, whoever owns that land should have ensured that gravestones were suitably stored or disposed of. Many churches – where not redundant – use them after plots are no longer paid for as paving, which seems OK. At least they are still a visible.
