Now forgive me friends, but between moving and such, I cannot get my head around, European Commissions, European Community, European Union, and such – each costing the taxpayer a small fortune, and each carrying its own bloated, nepotistic bureaucracy.

I hope I get this part right, but according to former MEP Sinnott, the EU doesn't actually exist – yet. We are still part of the European Community

Like that crazy gulag where I once resided, jurisdictional confusion is another tool of silencing and oppression. Who actually knows what their EU MEP does, when he/she does it, and what the consequences might be. Actually they do very little other than rubber stamp the edicts of the three thousand committees and take hope shedloads of bribe money ie, "salaries and expenses."

The EU brought rampant greed to ireland, benefiting an ever dwindling minority of super rich, bringing in franchises to squeeze out small businesses, cavernous German supermarkets, extraordinary cultural apathy, an almost lemming like acquiescence in the export and squander of millions of Euros to entertainment has beens and mediocrities, rampant crime – aided and abetted by the "Peace" Process, people and sex "workers" trafficking, drug dealing, theft of social services by "asylum seekers," violence against the elderly and such.

Now, the Irish voting population is comprised of the haves and the have nots, eg.,The "haves" comprise persons in taxpayer funded employment such as education, bureaucracy, medicine and such, all jobs requiring "influence," or a word in the right ear, so to speak.
The "have nots" hold onto their jobs by keeping schtum about politics and such. If they can't, they leave. This also applies to educated dissenters. Shut up or ship out.

However, since the Church-State child abuse scandals, the destruction of fisheries, the various Quangos, aka "Tribunals" exposing corruption and decadence at all political levels, the silent majority has become increasingly vocal.

Donna, I'm not sure that Tony will be rewarded. It is more likely that the Presidency is dangled before his greedy, rodent face, while someone else is being groomed to step in, and Tony and Cherie will suddenly be "exposed" for something or the other and consigned to the trash heap of history where they belong.

In brief, would you hire a person who sold his family?

I would love to be able to see a copy of the mortgage applications on the London and Bristol ones – especially the bits where he justifies his income and how he intended to meet the future payments……………!
