Fantasy “Muslim Abductee’” Arrested for Perverting Course of Justice

The Muslim trouble-causer who invented a series of lurid allegations against the British National Party in Epping Forest — which included a tall tale of being abducted by ‘white racists’ — has been arrested by police for perverting the course of justice.
Mr Noor Ramjanally was arrested yesterday and is currently being held at Harlow police station.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “A man has been arrested in connection with an ongoing police investigation into an alleged abduction in West Essex.
“Police were contacted on Monday August 24 by a man who stated that he had been abducted from his home in the Valley Hill area of Loughton. On Thursday September 3, police arrested a 36 year-old man from the town on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.”
Mr Ramjanally claimed he had been the subject of a series of “racist incidents” linked to his attempts to hire a local hall for use as a weekly Muslim prayer room in an area with four BNP councillors.
Mr Ramjanally said he had been threatened, had his door set on fire and finally was kidnapped by “two white racists” at knifepoint who dumped him in the middle of Epping Forest.
Despite it being obvious from a cursory reading of the facts (one of the many obvious contradictions was Mr Ramjanally’s claim that he was abducted in a 4×4 vehicle and “put in its boot” — 4×4 vehicles do not have boots), the national media immediately reprinted his claims as part of their ongoing lie and smear campaign against the BNP.
The media’s lies have stepped up against the BNP following its successes in the European elections of June this year, and more are likely to follow, said party national organiser Eddy Butler in his reaction.
“We knew from the word go that Mr Ramjanally had made up the stories to try and smear us, and we are glad that he has now been arrested for this. It is a pity that the media who so happily printed and publicised the story without every trying to verify it first, could also not be held culpable for their irresponsible and malicious reporting.
“The media’s coverage of the allegations shows their overt racial bias. If I or any other BNP member had come forward to claim that we had been abducted by Muslims, it is highly unlikely that the newspapers would have believed a word we said.
“Nonetheless we are happy with the turn of events as it reveals to the general public the extent to which the controlled media is prepared to lie about the BNP,” Mr Butler concluded.
