The BNP Website is Back!
The British National Party’s website is back after a transfer and backup to an entirely new server following yet another massive denial of service attempt to take it offline, reports webmaster Simon Bennett.
“The last time we were subjected to such a major attack was prior to the national TV broadcast,” Mr Bennett told BNP News. “That time we did not have the time to transfer the nearly 300 gigabytes of data to a new server and were forced to fend off the attack using a number of hired defensive servers to ward off that assault,” Mr Bennett said.
“This time, however, we were not under any pressure with regards to time. Thus the decision was taken to leave the site offline until the entire site had been moved lock, stock and barrel to a more secure server.
“This process inevitably took several days and is now almost complete. We thank the readers for their patience and understanding in this regard, but would ask you to please be patient as we still have some tweaking and fine tuning yet to do.
We look forward to your continued support in keeping this site the single most visited political website in Britain,” Mr Bennett said.
