Tories, Labour Identical: This Is Why BNP Support Grows, Says Migrationwatch

tweed-01aThe Tory and Labour parties’ identical immigration policies with which they con the public is the reason for ever increasing support for the British National Party, says independent think tank Migrationwatch UK.

In a strongly worded press release which revealed his irritation with the Tory/Labour Tweedledee/Tweedledum swindle, Migrationwatch head Sir Andrew Green said that the mass immigration would continue no matter which of those parties wins the next election.

“As the latest immigration bill comes to the House of Commons on Tuesday for its final approval, new research published today shows that the immigration policies of neither the Conservative Party nor the Labour Party will stop the UK’s population hitting 70 million – up from 61 million today,” said Sir Andrew in a hard-hitting press release.

“The official forecast is that, in the absence of major policy changes, we will reach this point in 20 years time with nearly all the increase in England,” he said.

“To avoid the UK population hitting 70 million – nine million more than today – net migration needs to be reduced from 237,000 (the 2007 figure) to 50,000, and held there. This is a 75 percent reduction. To stabilise our population at 65 million we need a 100 percent reduction,” he continued.

“Under Labour’s policies, immigration would fall by 8 percent – a fall of just 20,000 to 217,000. This is their own claim based on what would have happened if their so-called ‘tough’ Points Based System had been in place last year.

“Under Conservative policies, immigration would fall by 27 percent – from 237,000 to 172,000,” Sir Andrew said.

“‘The main parties talk tough on immigration, but they are trying to con the British public,” said Sir Andrew in his most vicious attack yet upon the Westminster sock puppets.

“According to Government figures, we can expect almost another 10 million people in England in 20 years time of which seven million will be due to immigration – equivalent to seven cities the size of Birmingham. Current Labour policy won’t begin to address this. The Conservatives are barely better: despite their rhetoric, they have a lightweight policy that sounds tough but won’t deliver.”

Sir Andrew still has a way to go before being forced to admit openly that the BNP offers the only solution to the problem he has so clearly identified, but at least now he appears to have reached the realisation that no other party wishes to even address this issue.

Perhaps Sir Andrew might one day realise that the ‘extremists’ to which he likes to refer in his press releases are, in fact, those who would see Britain destroyed under a wave of immigrants from the Third World, and not those who, like himself, seek to prevent that from happening.

* Sir Andrew’s comments follow hard on the heels of a new poll which has found that half of all Britons believe lax immigration policies have had a dramatic impact on the quality of life in the United Kingdom.

More than 70 percent of people questioned in a YouGov poll commissioned by the environment think tank Optimum Population Trust (OPT) said they felt current immigration levels were too high and wanted a cut in the number of people entering Britain.

According to the poll, which questioned 2,000 people, more than four in ten of those surveyed said they felt their town and village would be better off with fewer people.

They also blamed the rising number of immigrants entering Britain’s towns and cities for the overcrowding on infrastructure, such as transport and schools.

The OPT pointed out that the UK population grew by a staggering 434,700 in 2007, equivalent to a city larger than Cardiff.
