Team Black Country Assists Nuneaton Campaign for Second Week in Row
Five members of Team Black Country British National Party once again made their way to Nuneaton this past weekend to help with the important by-election campaign which gathers momentum each week, reports John Salvage.
The by-election, caused by the Tory mayor having to quit after admitting to having broken election rules, is being contested by the hard-working Councillor Martin Findlay.
Team Black Country BNP was tasked with distributing postal vote applications, a job which was completed in record time thanks to the organisational abilities of newly appointed organiser Terry Lewin.
The BNP has taken a leaf out of the other parties’ book and has started to explore the postal vote option in increasing numbers, reported Cllr Findlay.
According to Mr Salvage, the response received on the doorstep as the applications were handed out was very encouraging, with many people openly declaring their support for Cllr Findlay.
* In another part of the Midlands, two members of Team Black Country BNP, Kevin Inman and Jason Percival, undertook a table-top campaign in support of Troop Aid. The two sold literature and other items, raising £100 for this noble cause.
