County Durham Continues Campaign in the North East

May 31, 2009 - By BNP News

bnp-spennymoorCounty Durham British National Party were out campaigning on Saturday 30th May once again in their regular stall in the town of Spennymoor, reports activist Mark Walker.

“The ‘Punish the Pigs’ leaflet was distributed and quite understandably generated a great deal of discussion,” said Mr Walker. “Countless locals expressed their disgust at the recent expenses scandal and almost all agreed that the only reason some are now expressing regret was because they were caught,” he said.

Organiser Adam Walker said there is not a minute to spare between now and Election Day. “We are fully booked with activities around the North East between now and Thursday; this is the final push. Yes, some of us are worn out but we simply cannot rest as the next few days are crucial,” he said.
