Sunday 31st May saw four members of the Chippenham Constituency British National Party group attend a service of matins at their local church, St. Bartholomew’s in Corsham, as they do most Sundays.
After the service, the specially produced ‘Judas Archbishop’ leaflets were handed out to members of the congregation. The leaflets, calling on the Church to stop the unfair persecution of a legitimate political party, resulted in many parishioners agreeing that the Archbishops had overstepped the mark and had no place interfering with the electoral process.
