Britain Still Being Flooded with EU Migrants and Bogus Asylum Seekers
Britain is still being flooded with migrants and bogus asylum seekers, exposing the government’s promise to “crack down” as a sham, new official figures have shown.
According to a press release issued by the Office for National Statistics, the annual average influx into Britain over the past two years has been more than 500,000 each year.
The figures also show that despite an increase in Eastern European nationals returning to their home countries, the overall number of EU citizen migrants is steadily increasing as well.
The new statistics show that immigration is continuing to add substantially to the country’s population.
The number of Third Worlders entering Britain using the palpably false excuse of asylum has hit a four year high, according to Home Office figures also released today.
“Asylum” applications increased by more than a quarter in the first three months of this year, with 8,380 “asylum” applications being made between January and March this year.
At the same time, the number of failed “asylum seekers” being sent home fell by seven percent.
Including family members, the number of people claiming political refuge was up by a third to 10,285 compared with a year ago. The number of “asylum seekers” wanting to enter Britain has soared by 27 percent.
The increase was mainly driven by applications from Zimbabwe, evidence of the nature of the swindle. International law states that a person has the right to asylum in the nearest safe county. In Zimbabwe’s case, this would be South Africa or Zambia.
An “asylum seeker” who crosses twenty safe countries to reach Britain is clearly not seeking asylum but is drawn by the rich pickings offered courtesy of the British taxpayer.
The next most common source of these bogus “asylum seekers” are, according to the Home Office: Eritrea, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq – all of which have safe countries surrounding them.
Simply put, there is no reason at all to have any asylum seekers in Britain: they are obviously economic migrants who bypass safe countries because they know that the British taxpayer, courtesy of successive Tory and Labour governments, will provide them with benefits, money, food and shelter, without them having to do anything else except get here.

By Myles Harris. The key to the failure of our immigration policy is Britain’s adherence to the European Convention on Human Rights.
Created in the 1950s to offer refuge to the victims of Soviet persecution, it has been developed to offer asylum to anybody in the world.
In October 2000 the Labour government passed the Human Rights Act, which incorporates the provisions of the Convention into British law.
As a result, any refugees who set foot in Britain must be admitted to have their claims heard. Most manage to stay even if their claims are refused. If people cannot enjoy human rights in their own countries, they are entitled to enjoy them here. Softcover, 123 pp. £5.00
