BNP Leader Will Attend Buckingham Palace Function, Confirms Party

May 20, 2009 - By BNP News

buckingham_palaceThe leader of the British National Party, Nick Griffin, will indeed be attending a function at Buckingham Palace on July 21, party spokesman Simon Darby confirmed to BNP News.

“Mr Griffin will accompany Richard Barnbrook, our BNP member of the Greater London Assembly, as his guest at the event,” Mr Darby said.

Mr Darby added that these invitations were going to become increasingly common. “The anti-British people who object better start getting used to the idea because if we get elected MEPs, this is the kind of thing we are going to be doing on a regular basis.

“This is the natural consequence of the emergence of the BNP into the political mainstream,” Mr Darby continued.

All members of the GLA have been invited to the event. Earlier, Mr Barnbrook dismissed media hysteria over the development by saying he imagined there would be a “to-do and a hoot.”

“These things are going to happen more and more as the party goes forward,” said Mr Barnbrook.

News of the royal garden party invite comes two days after Mr Barnbrook attended the Wembley launch of England’s bid to host the 2018 World Cup finals.

“I was elected to represent the people of London, and Buckingham Palace is in London,” Mr Barnbrook told BNP News.

“I am there representing the people who feel that the other parties have let them down regarding employment, housing, knife crime and immigration.”

Asked by BNP News what he would say to the Queen if he had a chance to speak to her, Mr Barnbrook said he would like to discuss the issue of knife crime education amongst youths.

“I would also like to wish her a very happy summer and sample some of her famous tea and clotted cream, which I hope comes from her son’s estate in Cornwall,” Mr Barnbrook said.
